Normally a nice quite friendly relaxing atmosphere, but our last visit spoilt by another rather noisy family reunion group of nine talking loudly to one another in our area. Perhaps larger groups could be sat somewhere away from a more quieter area?"

Went for Sunday lunch...a vast improvement from when we went on Boxing day. Friendly welcome served in good time food lovely and service excellent. Would have scored 5 stars for food but could have been hotter...other than that a lovely lunch.

The restaurant and food were excellent as usual, with no issues with the staff. The only problem was that my reservation made through this app did not appear in their system. Thankfully, the staff was able to find us a table. Disappointed by OpenTable's error.

Food nice, hot ,tasty. The more senior( in age) had excellent customer service skills, the younger who appeared to be in charge pointed to another table when asked for black pepper and told us we could get it ourselves if we wanted some. Otherwise all good, pleasant atmosphere etc

We sat outside on the elevated deck, soaking up the sunshine while the kids had fun playing in the orchard below. The food and service were excellent, as usual. We always enjoy dining at the Dormouse because the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently delicious.

absolutely divine! eating was nice, the waitress who served us could not have been polite, friendly and attentive, price was very reasonable and interior and exterior sitting is both beautiful and much of it! my new place for lunch and Sunday dinner with friends found, highly recommended!

we enjoy the atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. we would like to phoebe our waitress who not only provided qualitatiw high quality service, but reminded us of an earlier visit that gave us the feeling. we both had a roast, the veg was a bit hard, but it enjoyed everything no less.
