with friends for lunch, was nice fresh homemade local cuisine, reasonable price, friendly staff, sat in konservertory was very nice and peaceful, would warmly recommend a visit.

Delicious food the best roast beef I've had for a long time. Excellent service we waited 10 minutes if that. Delightful venue newly refurbished and very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff at the Eagle.

Welcoming, friendly staff, delicious food, proper bar with good choice of ales. Gorgeous outdoor area, perfect for sunny afteroons. Not the cheapest, but worth paying a little extra for the good quality of drinks, meals and atmosphere. Enjoy! View menu

This was our first visit to The Eagle, it was my Birthday treat, and we were not disappointed, we all had an excellent meal, and the service was very good indeed, we enjoyed our meal so much we booked for another . We all came away very full .

Fantastic lunch!!!! Our waitress was so lovely and welcoming a true asset to your wonderful pub! We are from London but any time we are visiting here it will def be somewhere we would head to ! The beef was beautifully cooked and plenty of it x

Lovely food. Attentive (but not overly so) and speedy service. Polite and friendly staff. Only downside there was only one wheat-free option for pudding however myself and my fellow diners were too full from the wonderful main course. I had sausage and mash and both my friends had fish and chips. Yummy! View menu

I love to go to the eagle. the eating here is fantastic, especially the roast on a Sunday (will need the recipe) the workers are warm and welcoming and they can bring their dog here too. herr darcy loves his trips to the adler, he is still to taste some food from the Doggy menu: I 100% recommend this pub for anyone who has a great lunch at a reasonable price or just a place to have a few drinks.

I met some friends here for lunch. it was still quite early so that not too busy(which was nicer to chat) although began to fill as it got later. we all had “small plates” food from the lunch menu. my creamy garlic mushrooms on sourded and the others had halloumi salat with chili, and whitebait with butterbrot. all were delicious the decor and the environment are stylish and comfortable in dark blue/grays. a great place to visit...I will return definitiw.

Popped in because Mum wanted coffee in the sunshine and ended up staying for dinner. The pub is light and airy, with good selections of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The menu is varied with a mix of classics and more modern dishes, beautifully prepared and presented by a friendly and helpful staff. The garden is marvelous with a long stretch of lawn amid tall trees, and a small play area with a climbing frame. I would most heartily recommend it, and intend to return many times in the future.
