This restaurant is a wonderful spot to relax and people watch. The food and service were excellent, and the coffee was exceptional. We will definitely come back to enjoy it again. We were on holiday from Norfolk. We went in for a drink and cream tea and we weren't disappointed..the drinks and food were delicious..the staff were friendly and helpful..we enjoyed our visit and would definitely go back again if holidaying in the area. Unfortunately, we were unable to sample the food and drinks that had been recommended to us. We arrived at 10am, the advertised opening time, only to find the lights off and a closed sign on the door. A staff member came out and would have ignored us if I hadn't asked about their opening time. He mentioned it was actually 10.30am, but when I pointed out that it was listed as 10am online, he simply said, "yeah, we are a bit slow today." Disappointed, we decided to take the cliff railway down to Lynmouth and enjoy a delightful breakfast at the Ancient Mariner instead.

After a long day in London, we were heading back to our rental apartment when we stumbled upon a small food shop near our place. We decided to grab some chicken wings and a burger, as well as some pizza that was also on the menu. The burger was a bit underwhelming, as it was small and flat with not much flavor. The wings, on the other hand, were quite good. Despite the average food quality, the prices were very reasonable and the staff was friendly.
