"We arrived at the restaurant at 1 pm on a weekday and experienced a long wait to be served. Despite the low number of customers, we had to ask for menus after waiting for 25 minutes. The female staff seemed inattentive, with one employee noticeably preoccupied with drinking a beer behind the bar. We had to actively seek out the staff for dessert menus and coffee. The hake dish was excellent, but the fish cakes were disappointing - they appeared over-fried, hard, and dry, while the vegetables were soggy. By 2:45 pm, we had just finished dessert when a staff member informed us that the pub would be closing in 10 minutes, prompting us to hurry through our meal. The overall experience felt rushed. Had we not encountered such a long wait at the beginning, we could easily have finished by 2:30 pm. The pub was also quite chilly due to a draft from two open doors. Our previous dining experience at the same venue was vastly different - the fish cakes were much better cooked and presented, and the service was attentive and welcoming, particularly thanks to the male manager at that time. This time, however, we felt like an inconvenience. The food was also on the expensive side. As a result, we have mixed feelings about returning in the future."

What a great pub! Great food, lovely staff and only a 9 minute walk from my house. So pleased to be able to call it my local.

Last minute stop, had not booked, friendly welcome on a dark and stormy night, good food, good pub grub, lots of happy people here. Highly recommended.

We ate lunch here midway through a walk with a large group. The food was nice and piping hot. The only negative was very tired rocket garnish. Staff efficient, patient and friendly

Had the roast beef and couldn’t fault a thing, especially enjoyed the cauliflower cheese carrot swede puree. Picture doesn’t sure the generous seasonal vegetables also served. Really enjoyed the toffee pecan roulade afterwards too. View menu

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant with friends and all our kids. It's a fantastic place - welcoming, cozy, clean, with excellent staff and delicious Sunday lunch! I can't praise this place enough. Keep up the great work. Simply brilliant.

We were able to make a last-minute reservation for Sunday lunch at this popular and bustling restaurant. The service was friendly and outstanding. The beer was excellent and the roast lamb lunch was incredibly delicious. Located in a charming small village, this quintessentially English pub offers good parking and was a fantastic discovery.

Wonderful service and excellent food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and to be able to cater for our party with elderly adults and 2 large dogs at short notice was very kind. We all loved the large appetising menu, superbly cooked and delivered in a timely fashion. The service staff are friendly but not overbearing and we can’t recommend this venue enough you need to visit! View menu

I’ve been to this pub several times in the past satisfactorily so was very disappointed with the food on this occasion. I had fish and chips; chips stone cold, peas in a separate dish didn’t appear cooked at all and the batter was soggy though fish itself generous).. no one came to check that the food was OK. I didn’t complain as we were in a group and I didn’t want to appear moany but really it was awful!

Our first visit to The Farmer's Arms and cannot recommend it highly enough. 7 of us went for Sunday lunch. A great choice of menu options and the food itself was plentiful and absolutely delicious all freshly prepared with the best cauliflower cheese ever! Brilliant service with a smile too. Just couldn't resist the pudding menu, so we can confirm that the apple pie, waffles and the mocha tart are all fantastic. Very impressive choice of beers at the bar, including Ledbury Bitter. Lovely setting, a very friendly atmosphere plus outdoor seating for sunny days and plenty of parking we all wished this was our local! We will definitely be back.

"Entering the stablishment was fine got told to sit anywhere.. after sitting for over 20 minutes in an empty restaurant, I personally had to approach the staff member to come and take my order… drinks came swiftly food not far afterwards.. the quality of food burger was just below average…. Ordered the bbq wings which are battered!. The battered wings where not fully cooked/ barely cooked then lathered (bbq sauce) and served waited awhile as we didn’t get any cutlery or napkins seeing as it was a burger… personally has to go and receive a hand fully of napkin’s from I’m assuming another member of staff…not once did anyone come and check until I acknowledged of other work suttlely that no body had one and ask how the meal went.. gave the server the food and she had left one culprit wings behind… the view to the kitchen was clear leaving the door open.. I seen sous chef and other chef brush off the stituation!. So I carried over the remaining wing still tact For them to examine… Borge the sous chef also supporting chef both of thier mouths dropped and walked away with their heads face sing down… I was greeted with either a manager/assistant or supervisor she didn’t announce who she was.. I got told the wings have been compt what more do you want…. I wish I expressed a perfectly cooked patty.. abhtger byn to fit the over cooked patty… oh yeah not to be served raw batter for the bqq wings!. Can still taste the raw flour now an hour later… if anyone wants picture or updates please message me on [hidden email]"
