Really poor service. Very over priced. Waitresses didn't seem to care about us or whether we were ok. Weren't checked on after meals served. Glasses were empty and no further drinking requests asked. For a large bill, to not have the staff say thank you or bye was quite rude. Won't be returning.

Visited this pub for the first time yesterday, we had a large party and the place was busy not surprising for such a lovely October Sunday. The staff were amazing, very efficient and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic! Be warned the portions are large but oh so good i especially recommend the beef and ale suet pie. Just make sure you leave some room for the homemade desserts the white chocolate and mango cheesecake was soo good! If I was a bit closer I would be back again and again, but fingers crossed we will be back next year.

This pub is excellent and extremely dog-friendly. The food is delicious and the staff are polite and friendly. I was very impressed with the service we received. We had made a reservation in advance and mentioned that our dog is in training, so they seated us in a quiet area which was perfect. They even brought over a bowl of water for our dog and gave him some attention. They made sure that other guests with dogs were not seated right next to us, which made for a very pleasant experience. Thank you for taking care of us and our furry friend. I highly recommend visiting this pub if you are in the area.
