"I wanted lunch in rampington and had not expected to find somewhere catering for vegans, then I found the black horse hotel, with marked vegan options on the menu. I have received a very positive answer that confirmed that they used a separate frit and can also customize dishes on the special board so that they are very well suited. I ordered a bratpfeffer and red wobble, with potato wedges, a simple sandwich filling that can be tasteless (and I had a few in my time.) that was succultivated, tasty and the potato wedges were completely more tasteful and even though I was full until I was finished, could just have made a few more. I would like to revisit and try their other options, including the delicious sounding American pancakes. would be good if she also weeping as vegan friendly, maybe something they will consider in the future."

Last Saturday we had some great food here. Staff were brilliant. Live band came on after dinner so we stayed. Super night. Well done Bill and staff we will return

Enjoyed a family meal at the Foresters Arms last night. We were running late and they kindly accomodated a 30 minute delay to our booking arrival time at short notice. Great food at a decent price.

Stayed 2 nights. Lovely staff, food ok. Shame about the whole place needs refurbishment. Carpets filthy. Mould in shower that trickled out. Lights that made you laugh. A joke I can’t believe. Paint coming off the door that probably looked ok 20 years ago.

PET FRIENDLY??? Rubbish! I was a day visitor at the recent 40's weekender with my two Dogs and three mates. The day was excellent until the really good marching band started playing and sadly one of my dogs became extremely scared and panicked. He managed...

amazing restaurant with vegan options. the lunch menu has a beautiful vegan pizza and they will make a full-fledged vegan pizza to the main meal. crumble is vegan and they have vegan ice cream that is delicious. the tweetle rings are also fantastic, massive and super crisp!

we had a very good meal here with several choices and a willingness to adapt other veggie dishes. I chose a couscous salad that was very tasty, but not completely filled as a main dish. but with a side of chips and a delicious apple and black johannisbeer crumble with ice for dessert, I came very satisfied. updated by previous review on 2021-08-15

no wow factor here, but it was good enough to satisfy our hunger. the gobi aloo saag was quite tasteless and I am sure that the average person who cook this home could make a much better job by giving it the taste that it so urgently needs. at £13.50 I would expect better than this or at least a larger portion size to counteract the lack of taste than the one of us who had this court still hungry, so happy we ordered chips than side. the burger was obviously okay so I would probably order the next time and it was much cheaper.

A very traditional and local pub in a quaint village. We visited here for our tea one night, as we were staying in a lodge nearby. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Not a modern/chain style pub, but very traditional and full of friendly local people and we liked this aspect. They had a lovely open fire going whilst we were there. Had a good variety of food options for different dietary requirements. My partner is vegan and there were good options for him. Our food was served pretty quickly and was very good quality, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very reasonably priced too. A very welcoming atmosphere, would definitely be a regular if we were local! Definitely recommend a visit
