"my laws came from Scotland for a visit and were often in the fuchs and romans for meals, so we went again for a family meal. eating was fabulous and the personal is fantastic, friendly, fun to speak and very helpful. the portions are very good and the options for the meals are good, the atmosphere is great and they do not feel rushed to have their meal and leave. they are great and make them very welcome and if they have a leisure moment, will be happy to chat with them and even make photos for them. I can fortunately recommend the fuchs and romans for a great meal, in all our visits there was never a bad meal or experience. I have photos of some of our dishes"

wow, everything was amazing. the staff was nice, the food was delicious. highly recommended if we return to york, would visit again. had the festive 3 cursor meal in each case £23.

Waited for a while before we could be taken to our table previous customers disputing the bill ! My vegetarian choice sold out , very little alternative. Would not return or recommend this restaurant.

The food was lovely, the portions are big and we couldn't try the puddings because we were full after starters and mains, but we will try another time. Jamie was amazing, thank you for making our visit the best!

This was our third visit in four days while we were holidaying in York. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the service excellent and the quality/presentation of food outstanding. We will definitely return in the future!

amazing pub with great atmosphere! net: we had roasted on Sunday with beef sirloin and the turkey, veggies petersnips, carrots, broccoli kartoffels. it was delicious! was good and too full. dessert : pudding (chocolate brownie with ice cream) for dessert was delicious but too rich for my palate! I would certainly recommend this place. amy was very attentive and looked at us well. parking: behind the pub there is a large parking space.
