"The food was very good and the service was polite and friendly. the only issue was the table we where given, as people watches being on the stairway with the constent flurry of staff walking past meant that our experience this time was not to the normal standard. Should i be seated there again i would rather not eat there. i fully understand a table of 2 should not be sat at a larger table but these two tables remove any ambience the restaurant may have. As i was not given the choice when i booked on line i will not be using that format to book again."

I absolutely love the Fuchs! It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Northampton. The food is always fantastic (the Christmas menu was incredible), and the service is consistently wonderful!

We have been to the pub many times and their quality is always good. What I would not recommend is using OpenTable to book anything. When we arrived with a confirmed reservation from OpenTable, the pub had no record of the booking and they were full. The lady at reception said this happens a lot with OpenTable. They struggled to find us a table which was not in the restaurant, but in the small hallway leading into the restaurant. They did their best, but hugely disappointed that OpenTable let us down so badly.
