"Sorry folks it's our 3rd time at the F&H. 1st time was very nice. We returned with friends only to be stuck next to a huge speaker 4ft away from our table. We were advised not to come on Saturdays to avoid this. 3rd booking we arrived On a Friday) only to find a similar situation we requested to be put in the Den at time of booking ) but it was closed for some reason. This is a pub that caters for the locals (which is fine) but for others it misses the mark by a considerable amount. Probably won't be back."

A disappointing quality meal. The beef was barely edible and the vegetables very mediocre. A real shame, as the service was OK. The curry option was really good.

Food was well cooked with good portions and the setting is lovely. Staff were attentive and friendly . We enjoyed our evening and would return for another occasion.

I had the leek, potato cheddar soup which found to be thin, quite tasteless and no obvious potato or cheddar could be found! A very disappointing version of a very standard soup!!!

that was our second visit. the food was again very good, with very generous portions. very attentive service, and beautiful to take our time and not feel hastily. would definitely recommend.

menu not clear! I thought I would buy a meal from the menu, but it was apparently a children's menu so totally shocked at the price when bill given at the end! eating was nice, but the prices are very expensive.

Lovely food, and staff very friendly. Just a bit disappointed that they didn’t have all the food on menu but understand that it was because they don’t usually open on a Monday but what we did have to eat was delicious

Lovely food and location. Service was a bit erratic. We had to chase up for more drinks and desserts. Then we had to chase up for cutlery. There was an event on in the main bar which stretched the staff and they really needed more prople working.

that is not our first visit. we come as often as we can, as we live in kent. eating is exceptional, excellent quality, exquisite cooked, professionally presented,absolute deception and good value for money. the personal is fantastic. very friendly, extremely accumic, very helpful, could not do enough for them.
