"The place is quite basic, but it's pretty much what u expect from a greene king pub, it's cheap and cheerful, the food was piping hot and very nice for the money u pay, I marked it down 1 star as when we got there we were informed that they didn't have quite a lot of the foods/meal choices in stock which was quite a list, luckily they had something that we were happy to eat, and the fact that I hey 20% off food blue light discount and 10% off drink also made it only £66 for 5 meals and 5 drinks which is definitely unbeatable, although i must admit it didn't have the most classiest of clientele (and I'm certainly not posh) in at the time I was sceptical at first, but it wasn't to bad, and the staff were great, they were friendly with a good sense of humour and extremely helpful and accommodating and they definitely made the place, therefore I would probably go again as with the food discount and the friendly staff you definitely can't complain"

A lovely local pub. Decent food. Great outdoor beer garden with safe enclosed children's play area. Car park is free you just need to put your number plate into the computer inside so that you are registered.

The glasses were soapy and this made the drinks taste of soap. The tables were cleared but not cleaned The handrails were sticky cleanliness wasn’t adhered to should clean tables not just leave them overall very disappointed. The food ok but very small portions my partner was still hungry View menu

I come to this restaurant frequently for their delicious and piping hot food. Lately, my favorite dish has been the Salt and Pepper main. I also enjoy watching football games there, as the atmosphere is always lively. I have to mention the manager Adam, who is a fantastic asset to the establishment. He is attentive, friendly, and adds a lot of personality to the pub.

We were extremely let down by our experience at this restaurant. After making a special trip to have lunch here last week, we were disappointed to find that two out of the three small plates my partner wanted were unavailable due to a busy weekend. My dish, on the other hand, was lacking any substance and consisted of just a few pieces of what seemed to be grass, with no resemblance to a salad.

"A recent discovery for me is this beautiful Indian restaurant, which I rank up there with the best in Manchester, situated in the heart of Didsbury Village. Curries are without doubt my favourite food, so I've had a good few and since working for Yelp I have set myself the task of really locating the finest curry houses in Manchester. The Original Third Eye fully deserves to enter in at the top, alongside my other favourites, Punjab in Rusholme, Moon in Withington, and The Original Lal Qila on Deansgate. See my list for the run down. The name Original Third Eye comes from one of the finest restaurants in Kathmandu, though it is also a reference to the concept of the all Seeing Eye, a central emblem of Buddhist thought that is depicted on many temples and shrines throughout Nepal. The restaurant itself is large, and spacious, with authentic decoration and a smart, but still nicely informal, table arrangement. The food is literally unbelievable. Needless to say they sell all the usual traditional curry dishes, including an extensive fish list, but the main specialties are something new and unusual, a curry with a little something extra, taking it to that next level of joy and producing happiness and glee in their very consumption. The kidney kebab starter for example, combines classic kebab spices with beautiful marinated lamb kidney. Also beautiful is the Third Eye Tangri, which mixes chicken with minced lamb and nuts, a surprising and beautiful combination. In terms of mains, go directly to either the seafood menu or the Third Eye Specials section, on which everything is gorgeous. The piece de resistance, is the Murghi Masala, a whole chicken marinated in wonderful spices. This dish is so precisely crafted, that you in fact need to give 24 hours notice, and at least two people need to share it. I think that epitomizes this restaurant's absolute class. So I end on that note."
