"Jacket potato with chilli, one tablespoon of chilli, literally, after mentioning that was a very mean amount I was given some more, the chilli was very thin and watery, no chilli taste at all, I did mention this at the time but all I got...was, ok I’ll tell the chef then the lady shrugged her shoulders. The cafe is a local one and I’ve been before and had a club sandwich which was average, a few weeks ago, I will not be going back there again, it has been taken over and the food has definitely gone down hill. Over all very appalling and disappointing."

we had a great time here for breakfast. the food was delicious and large portions. we all had another hot chocolate that was absolutely tasty. we will return soon.

The cakes are delicious and the hot chocolate menu is impressive! Pancakes with bacon were really good but the sandwiches are a bit average. Nice ice cream in some interesting flavours.

Went to this cafe simply as we were in the area. Not disappointed! Friendly staff with good food and a fantastic selection of cakes. I highly recommend the Chicken Club Sandwich which was awesome! Will eat here again for sure! View menu

visited over lunch and ordered crowning chicken sandwiches. I couldn't believe when they showed up. both plates had 6 quarters, beautiful fresh brown brot and oozing with crowning chicken filling. I chose mine with scratch and my cousin chose salat. the salad was huge and beautiful. and fresh with a delicious dressing. the money worth. service was too recommended

We went in for lunch as we were passing. It’s my first time. The cafe looks lovely like a barn and has a lovely atmosphere. My partner ordered jacket potato and salad and I had quiche and salad. Portions were quite small. The tea cup...was a very dark green therefore the massive chip was easily seen. I showed it to the waitress who didn’t seemed bothered. Prices are on the expensive side so I won’t be coming back.

previous trips here have always been really good but this place is nothing like it was, it needs a good clean, every where looks dirty grubby, the food counters fridges are filthy, the cakes in the cabinet looked like they had been made...by a child they were ridiculous !! not the usual delicious cakes. The sandwiches we ordered came with a side salad which was was stale, the coffee (cappuccino) had no coffee flavour at all it was just like hot milk. won't be rushing back here if it doesn't get any better View menu

we come a lot to lunch and coffee here, but recently the dinge seems to have gone downhill. as once when we are sticky these monthly tables. menus dirty. (plastic coated). not very soothing, as we still get out of a pandemic. Bird...poo on the chairs outside, have a long time to order for the service. that was in a quiet time so no apology, a shot cappuccino very strong! the personal is very polite, but they have to focus more on the customer than on each other. if it's not better next time we find somewhere else!

Visited for the first time with children, was told to take a table and they would be over to take our order. Varied menus but drinks and cakes pricey! We waited a while for someone to take our order but eventually went up to find...someone. The tea pot was nice and a good amount of tea, the children’s milkshake were very milky and froffy not that impressed with the taste my child didn’t drink it. The cake was a bit stale and overpriced for a small slice. Nice setting and staff were friendly but just quite overpriced for what you got!
