"We arrived for our table which wasn’t ready and were asked to wait at the bar. Not an issue until it became really crowded with nobody being seated. Service was slow and seemed a bit disorganised. Starters were really nice though with the crab being the highlight. Unfortunately our steak was awful. The tomahawk was barely cooked when we asked for medium/rare. We returned it and it was recooked. Full of sinew and obviously a cheap cut, badly cooked. A real shame as we’d been here before under previous ownership which was great. Hopefully just a bad night in the kitchen"

Fantastic dining experience……. The food was adventurous and delicious but was 100% matched by the charming setting and super friendly staff. Highly recommend for a visit!

We travelled down from Leeds for a birthday Sunday lunch. We decided to sit outside as the weather was great. The garden area is really nice and the dog loved it. The service was excellent and the food really tasty at reasonable prices. On this...

We've been to the Greyhound several times in the past, not for Sunday Roast, and we have always been pleased. I've looked forward to trying their Sunday Road for some time however I was left disappointed. The service was very good and the and we...

We have been here several times over many years and love the food, especially anything with an Asian theme. But what prompted a review today was the really first class service, on a very busy Saturday lunch service. Arriving at the car park we could... View menu

Second time we’ve been here now. Well worth the travel as not local to us. The food is amazing and sooooo flavoursome, it definitely tickles the taste buds! Love the ambiance and quirkiness once you step through the curtain to get inside. Food is great...

The ambience and decor is extremely cosy, warm and very pleasant. The service is prompt and friendly and the staff were all very good. However, the food was extremely disappointing. The fried duo starter consisting of squid (which was ok) and mini fish cakes, these...

I recently dined at Anthony Worrall Thompson's restaurant near Henley on Thames for the first time. The food was fantastic, reasonably priced, and the ambiance was lovely. On the night I visited, there was live acoustic music by a talented singer which enhanced the overall atmosphere. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant. View menu

I haven't had a good Sunday roast in a long time, but The Greyhound did not disappoint. The staff were attentive and friendly, with Antony Worrall Thompson even casually greeting customers. The food was excellent. I decided to go for the Combo' Sunday lunch, which included sirloin, pork lamb, followed by a tasting plate' for dessert with mini portions of chocolate brownie, sticky toffee pudding, lemon posset, and creme brulee. It was amazing! Make sure to book in advance as it is very popular.

I haven't had a good Sunday roast in a long time, but The Greyhound exceeded my expectations. The staff were attentive and friendly, and I even had the pleasure of meeting Antony Worrall Thompson casually greeting his customers. The food was excellent. I opted for the 'Combo' Sunday lunch with sirloin, pork, and lamb, followed by a 'tasting plate' for dessert featuring mini portions of chocolate brownie, sticky toffee pudding, lemon posset, and creme brulee. It was amazing! Make sure to book in advance, as this restaurant is rightfully very popular.
