"I haven't had a good Sunday roast in a long time, but The Greyhound exceeded my expectations. The staff were attentive and friendly, and I even had the pleasure of meeting Antony Worrall Thompson casually greeting his customers. The food was excellent. I opted for the 'Combo' Sunday lunch with sirloin, pork, and lamb, followed by a 'tasting plate' for dessert featuring mini portions of chocolate brownie, sticky toffee pudding, lemon posset, and creme brulee. It was amazing! Make sure to book in advance, as this restaurant is rightfully very popular."

The first few times we ate here it was all fantastic. Food, service, atmosphere. But over the last couple of months, whilst the food has been ok, portion sizes have become tiny and definitely not value for money and service is so slow. I know... View menu

I recently dined at Anthony Worrall Thompson's restaurant near Henley on Thames for the first time. The food was fantastic, reasonably priced, and the ambiance was lovely. On the night I visited, there was live acoustic music by a talented singer which enhanced the overall atmosphere. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant. View menu

impressive would be an understatement the menu was like a masterpiece culinary joy in his own right! that was really an amazing experience. the weeping list for the food service was exquisite yes excellent lace wines, but not too ridiculous to praise them and to give them an example of how I would rate that, I would bring it to the same with alain ducasse in monaco! Seriously, eating was so good! did I really write that?

"Service was terrible. We had to keep going to the bar to ask for drinks, condiments, cutlery etc Large fish and chips was the same size as a co diners small except a few more chips.when this was mentioned to the waiter we were offered some extra chips. Both the fish chips were not freshly cooked and had obviously been cooked and kept warm for some time. Not crispy. Ketchup mayonnaise served in the same pot!! We went to the bar to pay and a customers dog was lying in front of the restaurant exit in full view of all the bar staff. He didn’t move the dog out of the way so we had to step over the dog to get out. No one asked him to move the dog from being a trip hazard. When paying the bill we asked that the discretionary 12% service charge be removed as we didn’t get good service. We were told they were not able to remove it so gave us a complementary drink instead but no apology. Walking to the car on checking the bill we noticed we had been charged for a bottle of Prosecco instead of a glass. Went back again no apology from the young man got the bottle refunded but still out of pocket on the service charge against the Β£32.95 bottle There was a lady behind the bar that had just started service who was the only person to offer an apology. Such a shame as we went regularly during the summer and food was always good. Also prices on website are not the same as on the restaurant menu. We Won’t rush back"
