"Our Host was a lovely lady and every issue I had she sorted straight away but unfortunately I was just disappointed overall. I visited the Harrow in April when we could only Dine out doors and it was amazing food so was really looking forward to coming back. I had booked a Xmas meal with friends and had chose the Xmas menu. My starters were wrong but I was happy to get what was given with no fuss. I ordered a pint ok coke and was brought a drink with no coke syrup in so that had to be sent back. The mains were ok which was a turkey dinner. My pudding came out (chocolate brownie) It was brought out with my friends puddings who also ordered a brownie. To be told that my pudding had exploded in the microwave hence why it was all over the plate. By this point I couldn't be bothered to argue it and ate whatever was left of the pudding. I wish I had said something at the time about the whole meal but to be honest I didn't want to ruin my Xmas meal with my friends."

Very good food, generous portions well presented. Service was friendly efficient, our waitress Joyce was extremely pleasant. Tables are well spaced creating a nice quiet atmosphere. Would recommend.

We recently visited this charming country pub during a quieter time of day, rather than the usual busy 12 to 3 Friday rush. Once again, we were not disappointed by the delicious food and excellent service. The relaxed atmosphere of the place was enhanced by our server, Teide, a friendly, attentive, and efficient young lady. We have been to this restaurant before and have never had any complaints. However, on our most recent visit, my wife found a hard piece of plastic in her meal, along with another piece of plastic. The main course, a burger, had lukewarm chips, cold onion rings, and the burger itself seemed like it had been reheated in a microwave as it was very dry. We usually enjoy dining here, but we were quite disappointed with our experience today.

I haven't been to The Harrow in over a year. The food was good and the service started off well, but we were left waiting a long time after our main plates were cleared. Eventually, the waitress returned and we asked for the dessert menu and I ordered a drink. Unfortunately, she didn't wait for the rest of our drink orders. When she came back with only my drink, I asked again about the dessert menu but she left. The restaurant wasn't busy, but the staff seemed inattentive. When I asked for the bill, we were left with it and no one came to collect our payment.
