great pub with lots of history right at the torquay harbour. fun little place to have some pints!

Loved the atmosphere of this gorgeous old pub. Warm welcome, great service a wonderful menu to dine from. Definitely worth a visit!

simply the best Sunday roast in torquay! they have the restaurant area, but if fully booked, they can sit in the pub area where they also serve. I had a single cure on Sunday roast and w6as more than enough for me. delicious!

So we heard about the place through Google review, l have to say full of charactor. Food was tasty, reasonable despite arriving after the kitchen closed for lunch trade, chef was still busy an said no problem it did not dissapoint. The atmosphere and character of the oub and its customers speak for itself. Would visit again without doubt. View menu

A very picturesque public house in one of the back streets in Torquay. A two or three course Sunday lunch is with a selection of meat. I had the three course choices and it was very nice too. The service of both bar staff and kitchen staff was excellent and could not be fault-free. The pub has a lot of atmosphere, but you may need to avoid the low beams when you are large in stature. With a wide selection of drinks it is worth a visit

this pub has so much character. visited on Wednesday afternoon, quiet. the dame behind the bar knew her witness and recommended it. After the crutches were laid down behind the bar, it was slightly cloudy and immediately asked if I wanted something else, although I had the half of the first drunk. both were a great tasting! love that they took care of their beer! ordered a crooked sandwich and it was one of the best I tasted and very impressed at a very reasonable price!
