"Driving along the coast road today we came across this little hidden gem. Friendly warm welcome on entering, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. We didn’t have to wait long and our piping hot food was served. We have just eaten a lovely brunch, bacon, eggs, beans, chips and the amazingly best sausages I’ve ever eaten... even my two little boys enjoyed them and that’s rare. The sausages where unique and so tasty. The brunch didn’t have any fat or grease residue on the plate, it was cooked to perfection, if your passing by the coast road between mostyn and Prestatyn call in as it will be the best cooked breakfast/brunch you will ever eat. We will be calling again"

Two “small” breakfasts for under £9 in total. Egg, bacon, sausage, beans, hash brown (awesome) and toast. Enough for anyone in a morning, freshly cooked and delicious. Great value and all so tasty.

Wow. What lovely find. We've lived in the area for over a year and only just visited. Quaint and welcoming, amazing selection of very nice coffee. Traditional breakfast was really nice, beautifully presented and good value. Definitely visit again. Staff were lovely too

This small restaurant is a wonderful example of an old pub being repurposed well. There is a wide variety of offerings here, from a photography studio to a café and gift shop. The gift shop sells a range of collectibles and homemade items that would complement any home. The welcome is very warm and the atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely worth a visit. View menu

We recently dined at a charming restaurant with our group. The place was clean and welcoming, and the owner greeted us warmly. The tea and coffee were delicious, and the food was good. In addition to the food, they also sell handbags, key rings, and other items. The restaurant has a nice sized parking lot, making it convenient to visit. We highly recommend checking it out.

The atmosphere was good and the breakfast enjoyable. It would appear they have a good local or regular trade as many of the customers were known to the staff on entering. The pictures and quotations on the walls were fascinating and made good reading. The experience was enjoyable and an hour soon went by, just in time as Lobitos finished fitting the new brakes as we returned at the tyre depot.

I must say, this restaurant is quite unique. It reminded me of places I have stumbled upon in the United States! There were indoor water features and many inspirational quotes scattered around the walls. The coffee was decent, although it was made with granules, but I wasn't expecting anything different. The service was friendly, but the place had a slightly musty scent. Overall, I think this restaurant may cater to a specific taste. View menu

The Amber Coffee House is I presume what was previously known as the Ivy Emporium. We came across this establishment while driving on the A548 en route from Blackpool to Caernarfon to ride the Swiss train on the Snowdon mountain Railway. It has a huge car park, but the exterior does not do it justice. I enjoyed pancakes with bacon and maple syrup (a meal I had not had outside or North America previously! while my wife enjoyed a croque monsieur panini. It was so good we stopped off again on the way back.

Never been in such a dirty cafeteria in my life. Toilets in need of a good clean, cobwebs all over the place. More like a Second hand car sales gone wrong. If you like being ripped off, there are cheap and nasty gifts you can purchase. Are party of four made the mistake of visiting this dump on Friday and would suggest if you are passing through North Wales, you give this place a wide birth. A little further along the road heading into Prestatyn you'll find the Bells of St Mary's were you'll find the people pleasant, food good and well priced.

"Went for a drive Father's day and ended up having a meal here, we rang and luckily got a table for 7pm. On entry to the Celtic Arms it was a high walled gated area with absolutely beautiful gardens which went on for some considerable area, it is a golf club as well and a beautiful golf course with golf buggies opposite the restaurant. Opposite the golf buggies their is a play area that as I recall was fenced off but attached to the restaurant as its also a bar. On arrival to the resteraunt the manager was extremely warm and welcoming and escorted us to a table just outside of the restaurant. During the time we where in the Celtic Arms I observed the waitress in the restaurant constantly clean and spraying the tables which was absolutely so reassuring since the last covid people have relaxed a bit to much. A young lady who was equally as welcoming came and as us for our order, it was a set three course meal at £23.99 which we felt was really reasonable for such a lovely place. Halfway through our time in the Celtic Arms the young lady went home from her shift that had intially taken our order and I pressume we then passed to another waitress. I felt we where out of the eye of the bar but not in the restaurant so got a little forgotten about, although once we called a member of staff to remove our plates these where remove immediately. The starters where delicious with plenty of prawns on the prawn cocktail and the pate had an amazing homemade chutney. The mains where lamb and beef with the whole meal being cooked to perfection and hot with vegetables cooked just right. A lovely touch we felt was the lady out of the restaurant came and asked us if everything was to our liking and was there anything of the meal we would like a little extra off, I dare say you won't get a ton of potatoes or veg but the gesture was very touching and to be honest the meal size was ample. The desert white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake we shared and both agreed it was delicious, and we then shared a cheeseboard which I had got on the three course set menu. The delicious chutney again appeared with varies cheeses, crackers and grapes. Our compliments where left with the manager and the staff with our thanks for serving and delivering multiple resteraunts can not quite achieve. Well done Celtic arms for your polite, professional manner and serving a delicious good quality meal which was ample portioned, reasonably priced in an excellent environment. Would definitely recommend this place it's beautiful and wins hands down on the last 20 plus places we have been over the last few months. We will most definitely be going back again."
