The Kings Grill - Menu

Do check the menu! It’s a pity the updated information on the reduced menu isn’t available on opentable. We booked through that platform and saw what looked like a great menu. It transpired that it was pizza and dessert.

We would like to thank all the staff involved this evening, we had a lovely meal with food cooked to perfection and brilliant service. Keep up the good work, we had an enjoyable evening and will be returning soon. Highly recommended.

Always welcomed like a long lost friend, staff are attentive without being too much. Food is always lovingly prepared with fab specials fresh fish dishes especially fab! Decent wine menu and everything reasonably priced. Happy to come back here time after time to experience the wonderful buzz and great food. And if you want a cheaper evening pop next door to Rapps for an even more relaxed meal. Yay to all the staff! View menu

From entering the dining room I was very impressed with the layout and spacing of the tables, in this very difficult time we are living in. The welcome and service from all of the staff was excellent throughout the evening. Steak seemed to be very popular, but we had the Duck and Scallops starters and for main the Cod and Duck which were all cooked to perfection. So along with a very good wine list it made for a very enjoyable evening.

Amazing service and even better food if that’s possible. This restaurant can be so romantic for couples or a nice quiet place for friends, the atmosphere is simply lovely and relaxed. A young lady was a fabulous waitress and was so quick to bring drinks once ordered and so on it when we were close to finishing them to get us some more. All three of us attending had starters, mains and desserts which were fabulous. Possibly the best steak I’ve eaten which was cooked to perfection. Would 100% return.

I was delighted at the care and attention given to our table for two, the house wine added to the fillet steaks. Although we were spoilt for choice especially with the off the menu chef of the day specials. The cocktails on arrival 'shaken not stirred ' started the evening off in style, this and the ambience of the dining room empowered a feeling of warmth enhance by the waitress attention to detail. I have heard so many good reviews about this place and finally had the chance to visit. O boy, I wasn't disappointed to say the least. Saltburn has the luxury of many small but great businesses and the one is most definitely at the top of the list. From the initial call to make the reservation, you got a feeling of pleasantry. Happy smiling faces on all the staff, Warm, welcoming restaurant, very comfortable. The bar was well stocked And the food..... Fantastic !!!!! I personally had the steak, cooked to perfection. I will be returning again and recommend you trying here for your next meal out.

I had booked a short break for a birthday celebration and found good recommendation for The Kings Grill on Tripadvisor. I booked for Saturday night. The venue sits inside a smart looking bar but as you enter you feel like you have walked into a really high end restaurant. The decor sets you up for a real experience that is followed through. Delightful friendly and professional staff take you through a menu offer that is exciting and varied. Each course delivered 10 out of 10 taste. We love our food and eat in many restaurants but this really stands out as one of our favourites. Thank you and we will be back to Saltburn soon.

While staying in saltburn on sea. Found the kings grill on TripAdvisor, excellent reports so decided to try for our 44th wedding anniversary, Not disappointed, Wife had filet steak, I had. Ribeye steak. Both lovely, Both of us agreed. Best we have had, The staff are equally as good as the meal. Nice to go to a place where the staff. Really take care of the costumers, Would decently go again next time we in area. Told waitress we were from pontefract , she had heard of the place and new about the famous pontefract cakes, but admitted she did not know. Where it was, What a lovely. Lady she was, pleasant And polite. All reviews we read were correct, Not cheapest , but up there with the best View menu
