I was personally a little disappointed by the food this time, the ham from my ham egg and chips was processed and formed, rather than carved from a joint, but it was perfectly edible. They do offer Sunday roasts, but these are not carved meat from a joint."

The Lamb is my favourite place to enjoy an excellent meal. Always superb, with kind attentive staff. A great choice of all sorts of dishes on the menu and excellent value for money.

We were too late for a full meal but the waiter could not have been more helpful. We settled for starters and chips and they were delicious! The bar was very noisy but we ate in peace outside under an awning and admired the dramatic sunset.
