First time in since the refurb. Fantastic results, great place, superb food and great ale. The staff are attentive, efficient and engage in conversation with customers. A must visit if in Bamburgh

What a place! I recently held my wedding reception (28th April) at Lord Crewe and Robin and the staff could not do enough for us! The food, service and rooms were utterly fantastic. All family and friends that attended were amazed at the friendliness and quality of food! Thank you ever so much creating an ever lasting memory of our lives.

Three of us enjoyed an early evening meal in the dog-friendly room. The service was friendly, and we had a delicious steak burger, chicken and chili linguini, as well as vegetable curry. For dessert, we indulged in a sticky ginger pudding and marmalade pudding with custard, both of which were excellent. The room also offers a beautiful view.

we liked eating here! the flat plate was beautiful and my man said how much he enjoyed the crab soup. there was a good choice of netzen and the desserts were especially good. the ingwerpudding was most pleasant and the pavlowa that my friend looked divine. friendly staff, nice grace and a good choice of weeping and beer. We visited the Lord Crew for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We've dined at many places before, but this one stood out. The room was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the spacious bathroom was even large enough for a little dance! The breakfast was fantastic, featuring fruit, muesli, toast, and a variety of hot items. I would highly recommend it—everything was excellent!

We had the most enjoyable evening meal of our holiday here after an impromptu stop off in Bamburgh. Spectacular views from the beer garden and dog friendly inside and out, so we were all happy! Ordered the Smoked Haddock Chowder which was delicious. The seafood linguine and kids meals were also hits and very good value with homemade delicious fresh ingredients. Did not disappoint and would definetely visit again when we're in the area.

I stayed in Bamburgh for a week and dined here several times. I never had the same dish twice, and everything I tried was freshly made on-site. I must say this was my favorite place to eat and drink in the village. The staff were all very friendly, which was a nice change from another restaurant in the area where the atmosphere felt quite restless. Keep up the great work! I can’t wait to return. I will definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends.

We called Dec 23rd evening, the Crewe Arms stands right in the shadow of Bamburgh Castle. The pub had just been refurbished and is a wonderful composition of new and traditional it’s a really beautiful space to be in. We were still too stuffed with lunch-times Seahouses fish and chips to eat but we did look at the menu which was fab and no more expensive than anywhere else. The staff were lovely. We had a nice chat with them about the refurbishment, the village, their usual customers etc and as it wasn’t too busy they happily spent the time chatting.
