"The new decor is amazing and I love the atmosphere but sadly the service and the food have not improved. I had the rotisserie chicken which I expected to be nice and juicy . It was dry and tough. The broccoli came ad a chunk not small pieces and was too hard to cut and not apetising at all . They need to sort this out as the food always lets them down . The basics need to be improved . We were there on a lunch time and I have heard that in the evening the service is worse such a shame when the place has had such a lot of money spent on it , I won’t be going again any time soon ,"

When we arrived, they were unaware of our reservation, but fortunately, they were able to accommodate us! We had booked through OpenTable, and they mentioned that reservations often don't come through. Just a heads-up on that! Lyttelton House is quite nice; the service was excellent, and the food was good. However, it was very noisy, making it difficult to have a proper conversation. Last minute decision to head to the Littleton Arms. Hadn’t been there for a while but read it had recently had a referb. Arrived to a friendly welcome from the staff and were shown to our table. Definitely liked the new look of the place. Very modern and trendy. Had a starter and a main course. Starter of breads was average but the main course of Salmon for me and gnocchi for my lady was wonderful. Our waiter Haz was very attentive and friendly as were all the staff. Would definitely recommend this place.
