The rooms were clean and fresh with Tea and coffee making facilities.Good parking. The breakfast was superb. The only downfall for us was the room above us had creaking floorboards.

We visit regularly for drinks or a meal. We have celebrated birthdays and a wedding here. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is lovely. Great to book out for special occasions. View menu

Went with my daughter and grandchildren for a hot chocolate treat after school. Made very welcome and the chocolate with cream and marshmallow was delicious. Comfy friendly surroundings too.

homely food ...well cooked piping hot food. Steak cooked just the way I like it. Clean rooms, lovely staff all of them. Almost made working away from home a perfect way to work. Can't beat the home made chips

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights and I must say, I was very impressed with the staff and the delicious breakfast. The entire establishment was extremely clean and well-maintained. Our room, named after Audrey Hepburn, was spacious, comfortable, and even had a separate sitting area. View menu

Met friends here for brunch and it was really nice there was plenty to choose from I had poached eggs on toast which were cooked perfectly, the coffee was also good. The only annoying thing there was two very noisy children who obviously...thought it was a playground running up and down the restaurant which isn't any fault of the restaurant, just bad parenting!

The Dronfield Family stayed at this lovely, unique little place during their visit. It is conveniently located near a small shopping area with charming cafes and shops. The rooms had low ceilings but were nicely furnished. Breakfast was included and offered a wide variety of options. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep after a long day at Chatsworth. They plan to book again for their next visit.

We noticed recently that The Manor House does breakfast and as we were meeting a friend for a breakfast one Sunday morning, settled on this restaurant. We all wanted a light option and there was plenty of choice. We had poached eggs on toast, smoked...haddock and poached eggs and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. All were good, especially the poached eggs, which were perfectly cooked and the staff were very attentive. Also the food was quite reasonable. The only downside for us, and this is nothing to do with The Manor House, was that there were very noisy small children, who were so loud, we struggled to concentrate on our conversation. View menu
