"We recently visited Llandough and dined at Merrie Harrier. We had the cod dish, which was very good. I have often paid much more for this meal and the quality was not as good. The staff was friendly, efficient, and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I would definitely recommend this pub for its value for money."

This is a great pub. Staff are really friendly. They serve Brains beers which is locally produced. Sunday lunches are beautiful.

The portions are generous and satisfying. Our family's favorite starters are the garlic mushrooms. Sunday lunch is always a special treat at this restaurant.

Very enjoyable. Charismatic place with good reasonable food. Hope it gets back to the nice vibrant pub it used to be. We could do with a reasonably priced carvery/Sunday dinner pub which always attracts people. Hoping for quiz nights etc to be added.

The food is so good I’ve been twice this week, both times I’ve had the garlic and lemon chicken with sweet potato fries cauliflower cheese as a side, cooked perfectly extremities tasty. Landlady is very welcoming and friendly I will keep returning here.
