"Steak and ale pies were absolutely stunning, a rich sauce that had us mopping up our plates and it was all we could do not to lick them after. Fish and chips were crisp to perfection, with good quality haddock. All four of us were in stitches and holding onto every word shared by the part owner who made us feel incredibly at home the minute we stepped through the door. Quick service, the barman was friendly, and we left with a rich knowledge of the history of the building and its surroundings. Sounds like there are exciting projects in the pipeline for future accommodation and it can only get better with so much love and care put into the place. Thanks for giving us a wonderful beginning to our holiday!!!"

We liked the food and atmosphere and had a good time in here. We had burgers and beer, both very nice.

Called for drinks on a Saturday night. Fairly quiet but nice atmosphere. Good choice of beers and a really really good female vocalist. Had a great night.

We visited the place on a quiet weekend for a quick lunch before going for a hike, had to wait for 20 minutes for a fun-size portion of soup. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place. At least it was tasty..

Been visiting this place a few times this year and have never had a bad meal yet the food is lovely especially the homemade burgers and the portions. The staff are lovely and really make you feel welcome and nothing is a problem for them. Keep up the good work View menu

Visited here whilst staying near Kinlochard,Staff were very friendly, food was amazing the best steak pie ive ever tasted,im very fussy when it comes to my food but ate every bit.My Partner and his sister also enjoyed their food, will definetly be returning,I would reccomend,I could have sat there for hours just looking outside and enjoying the atmosphere of the place.

Steak pie was tasty but terrible portions...walked away still feeling hungry, I get that steak is expensive but even the veg and chips were scarce...potatoes cost pennies, really wouldn't hurt to add some more...Politely said the manager that the portion was far too small, he shrugged his shoulders, didn't say anything and then walked away....waste of £10.50 won't be going back.

Second visit to this lovely place, we were on our honeymoon and stopped by to have a bite to eat as we were staying locally. I knew what I wanted straight away, the steak pie with potatoes and veg, I had it last time we visited and it is the best steak pie Ive ever tasted, im a fussy eater but it is delicious. Also the lady who served us was very friendly and really down to earth, we had an amazing experience and will defently be back when we visit again next year.

Visited over the weekend of 9th/10th June 2017 on a camping trip, with 4 adults and 8 kids. The reason we came was because we had visited the year before and the food and service were excellent. This year, they didn't disappoint, and were really welcoming to everyone, with the kids really enjoying the pool table and dart board. Oh, yes, the food. It was excellent, from the fajitas to the steak pie and burgers, everyone really enjoyed it. When we come back camping to Aberfoyle, we will definitely be back here, for both the food and friendly banter. Loved it.
