"Possibly the best restaurant meal I've ever had. We had the tasting course with the wine flight. Every course tasted incredible! They were also very accomodating for our group who had some allergies and fussy people who didn't eat fish for example. The biggest differentiator from other restaurants at this level was how friendly and relaxed the whole experience was. All the staff were lovely. Our waitress in particular was very funny and really made us feel very welcome."

he nut tree inn near oxford was high on my hitlist. great pub foods are hard to come in london, so I always try to find a quality local pub when I have the chance and it seems groove tree inn tick all boxes. View menu

we went into the nut tree after our daughter highly recommended it for the birthday of my wife, we were not disappointed at all and had a fabulous meal. we tried the tasting menu and it was jum. great atmosphere and the staff were also great. as arnie said: “we again”

Our go to for spoiling ourselves/special treats! We love the nut tree. Have eaten both a la cartè and tasting menu. I have some dietary restrictions and they're always amazing at swapping things around without a fuss. Food is delicious and service is incredibly professional, but without being stiff... All the staff are very friendly.

It’s not cheap, but it isn’t noticeably expensive either. The food is unchallenging and the service was excellent and enthusiastic. The clientele appear to be mainly locals and regulars, I suspect that it has many local enthusiasts and that the £18, 2-course set menu, available Tuesday to Friday lunch or Tuesday to Thursday evenings is very popular. We have eaten here a number of times, but alas it has been several years since our last visit due to a negative experience. However, I must now revert to my original opinion and confirm that this restaurant is fully worthy of the Michelin star it holds. A very pleasant atmosphere, extensive menu, delicious food, atttentive but unfussy service, and a great sommelier (the star of the show).

we went to the nüssenbaum gasthof for our sons 30th birthday. very cozy pub atmosphere, staff are very helpful and welcoming and service was great. has a beautiful meal, eating is excellent and beautifully presented. beautiful touches where our sons were decorated in chocolate with a happy birthday in front of dessert lemon soufflé teller. extensive wine card and personal on the various weeping available. would definitely recommend and hopefully be back again.
