Sorry the takeaway lunch was in edible .Veg either overcooked or undercooked.Sadley nobody seemed to care.That was ashame.Things happen but you don 't expect to be told. nobody else complained .Wrong answer.Not good for recommendations in a small community.

A really lovely meal! Service was excellent and amazing food! The staff were really welcoming, friendly, and very efficient. We were served by vieran who served us in the restaurant, and was always smiley and very helpful., and the food was really good. All in all, a lovely evening

We went for an early evening meal, it was pretty quiet but was playing a good range of music. We ordered the mega rump steak, the vegan pie and a kids meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the chips are the best I’ve seen...in a pub, lovely and crisp. The pie was delicious with crisp pastry. The vegetables were fresh and vibrant. The food came out hot. Our son ate the majority of his meal too.

Came in after work with my family and not having had much of a lunch I was particularly hungry…scanned through the menu and came across ‘the mega meals’ section….two 8oz steaks, grilled tomato, peas, onion rings and chips for under £15! Steaks were cooked to...perfection and good quality cuts! the lot got demolished. Everyone’s meals came in good time and no problems at all! Definitely worth the visit and will be going back. Good range of beers on draught too!

I'll start by saying we went last week and it was nice.....but tonight was a complete disaster! We waited over an hour for our starters after being told twice that they were being plated up. When we finally got them they (garlic mushrooms and chicken...wings) had clearly just been thrown in to a deep fat fryer and slapped on a plate. Both starters were massively over cooked and dry. We had finished these and within seconds the Mains appeared and once again all I got was a mouth full of cooking oil! The chips had obviously been fried twice and the burgers had clearly been thrown in with them. I got an extra glass of flat Pepsi as a way of an apology, but no one even bothered to ask about the...

it wasn't very busy, so we thought we were happy. I went into the bar and ordered a camp and a wee. the young man behind the bar looked half sleep and did not seem to know what he did. not enough wee. left in the bottle, so he said he would run into the cellar to get more and took old to come back. in the meantime a young lady came to serve and wanted to know where he was! the wee was obviously not cooled, but although this did not bother me too much, I did not think at the time of bad management to store the refrigerator for a Saturday night.
