"I was in the area on a Saturday night around 5pm, and had time to stop for a pint before boarding the Tube to get to my next destination. I was drawn in by the nice exterior of this pub and the fact that, unlike some other pubs in the area, this one didn't have people spilling out into the street, thanks to its slightly tucked away location that's quieter on weekends. Was also very convenient for the St. James' Park tube stop, right across the road. Service was pleasant and welcoming. And I appreciated that in addition to the standard offerings, they had some local craft beers on-tap. I had a delicious holiday pint, sitting at a table and doing some reading. While the atmosphere was social, it wasn't bonkers loud or full of overly drunk people. A nice visit; would definitely return."

Great and bustling pub with lovely spaces for post work drinks or some lunch. Has some very historical quirky decor which ads a lot to the atmosphere! View menu

First time coming and the food was very good! Will recommend the chicken burger as it was delicious and very well cooked along with one of their ciders. The staff, especially Aldo was very friendly and served us really quick. A very lovely experience!

My friends and I strolled in after visiting Buckingham Palace today and luckily we came across this trendy pub just outside St James Park station. Great for drinks and if you want not too big of a meal. I had two lovely ladies serve me by the name of Kathryn and Kaysha who were great. Would reccomended !!

We came across this pub while walking and we decided to try it out. Great food and service! We had some delicious Fried Chicken Ranch burgers with house seasoned fries! It was fulfilling and tasty. We drank some ciders. The service was great and quite fast, our server Aldo was very nice and polite. A nice cosy vintage place. View menu

Very poor staff serving. Me and my mate just came for couple of drinks to relax and chill after a stressful day but the girl serving was so rude and there was no greetings as well.Asked for some orange in the drink for garnish and she just gave it by hand ,very unhygienic so we just left that drink we paid for ,over there only.Avoid this bartender!!!

I went there for a work Christmas lunch. Although the food was delicious, the service was truly atrocious. The wait staff did not seem to be prepared to ensure that the right food was served to the right people. When we asked them questions they were surly and reluctant to engage with us. did not seem interested in our well being and they seemed more concerned with their convenience rather than ours.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
