The Old Walnut Tree

Some of our starters come out before others and sharlina chased up our order. She was a very lovely lady and made sure we were happy with our food and we had got everything we ordered.Food was lovely as always!

Considering our party of 11 had not booked ahead, the manager managed to fit us in an already busy day. (Good Friday). The food was excellent and very good value. Our waitress, Charlina, was extremely efficient and friendly. Very happy will return.

Got over cooked steak not a big deal can get new one! As I come here every week But I got chef who twice tried argue it! Once coming to table saying only half steak over cooked other half not I should except it. Brain dead customer service right there! Turned a weekly customer not want come again.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The beer is excellent and the food is fantastic. The pricing is also very reasonable. Our family loves the old walnut tree, especially in the summer when we can enjoy the beer garden and children's playground. There is plenty of parking as well. Overall, it's a great experience!

My family of 12 visited this restaurant and were promptly seated. We ordered through the app and our drinks arrived quickly followed by our food. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Charlena, went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Has a gift card to use so as we hadn’t been to the pub since it changed its name we will always refer to it as the Horse) thought we’d try lunch. Extensive menu of which we opted for the 2 mains for £12.99. Scampi Chips and Steak Pie with Mash. Both generous portions. Good service. Traditional pub decoration seating. Good value

we have booked a table for 6 people when we sat, it was quite close to the doors that were open, so was very cool, so the waiter craig managed to close one, then one after the other .. we were all quite grateful .. we had burger at the arrival, we all said the wobbles looked very anaemic ! other than that they were quite brilliant

This is a pub that has sold it 's car park to the car parking dinosaur europarks , and therefore you will get a parking fine if you don 't log in when you arrive. On top of that, the signage is poor especially at night and if you enter via the entrance at the front. So be aware! I personally (and my friends) will not be giving this pub another visit due to this, and will go to pubs who can provide a proper car park for their customers.

2 visit within a month and not fully satisfied with eating. not said that the dings are not available or cooked over. the first time we didn't get garlauchbrot on a sharing when I asked it, I was told that I would have said if I ordered that they didn't have one! Second visit was a Thursday, our burgers were cooked on a edge, making it difficult to eat. we go here a lot and do not expect to be perfect every night, but would like to change the choice of the meal if bits are not available and would like everything to be possible. 2 disappointed customers
