"We are always on the lookout for cafes that offer a great lunch, and this one certainly fits the bill. Located in an art gallery at the peaceful western end of town, we were warmly welcomed and tables were rearranged to accommodate us. We started with a delicious chicken and vegetable soup, served in a generous portion with chunks of chicken and whole vegetables. Our main course was brie, cranberry, and cheese haggis paninis, perfectly cooked and not greasy. To finish, we indulged in a cherry scone, one of the best we have had this year. The friendly goodbyes as we left left us with smiles on our faces."

Very nice place, kind servis. We had a ritch soup and good coffee. Quite expensive for me. This place was very hard to find, you had to enter a souvenir shop and go to the very end.

I did a tasting tour throughout the north and no question their scones. cheese or cherry were the best. Baked fresh daily, with some clotted cream, this is worth the trip. An the owner and tea room are charming

Popped for a small bite to eat. The cafe is situated at the back of a beautiful shop. Too many nice things to look at!! Great service with good hot and tasty food. If I was in the area again I would certainly return. My one regret....not trying one of the delicious looking scones.

I arrived here wet and tired. I had a lot of luggage. Biata, the manager was so kind. She stored my luggage for me till I could get into my hotel, and she also printed off all my flight info! So unbelievably kind! The other staff were so lovely too. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely with beautiful art all around. I highly recommend a visit!

Tucked away at the rear of Westgate Gallery this wonderful little eatery got us returning. The place is light and airy, with lots of the ‘for sale’ art hanging on the walks, this gives a great ambiance. The staff were happy and polite, and sevice was swift. The food was delicious. Ham and cheese and Tuna toasties, hot and yummy. A really welcoming place that we returned too a few days later. We even bought some art!! Highly recommended

A huge thank you to the staff at the Westgate Cafe, especially the owner and the manager, for helping us to celebrate our engagement on the 1st July! We popped in to the cafe for a bite to eat after getting engaged in North Berwick, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. They even gave us our first engagement card and gift which was incredibly thoughtful and generous. The food was also very tasty! Thank you for making the most special day even more amazing! We’ll not forget your kindness. Lia and David

Located in the town of North Berwick, the Orangery is a highly recommended dining spot among the many cafes and eateries in the area. Situated within the Westgate Gallery, this bright and cheerful restaurant offers a fantastic menu served by friendly staff. Just a short distance from the West Beach on the main road, it is easily accessible for visitors. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, such as pate, chutney, salad, and traditional Scottish oatcakes. A visit to the Orangery is definitely worth it and you will not be disappointed.
