"This fish shop used to be amazing, Amazing food, friendly staff. Not sure what has happened over the last couple of months food not great anymore. On this occasion we waiting for about mins which is ok, i ordered food to be told it would be After mins the food was still not ready as i waited there was a member of staff who language was horrific and swore alot. No one needs to know if your having a bad day, The same team member then decided to pick up the metal foil tin that the pies come in decided to put it on her colleagues head it fell of her head onto the counter where the food was served, she then started scratching her head and eyes and did not even sanitise her hands and continued to touch food, which put me off my food and will not be returning back which is a shame."

I only gave this restaurant four stars because they do not accept cash. Cash is essential for transactions, but besides that, the chippy was very nice.

Great fish and chips, my only criticism is the mushy peas are fairly bland and don't taste of peas. If they improved their mushy peas, this would be my favourite chippy. View menu

We haven't bought anything from here for a VERY long time as it wasn't that great the last time we ordered so i'm not sure after reading other reviews if we were really lucky this time as we ordered Fish chips and peas and it was absolutely gorgeous I can't fault it.

I had a disappointing lunch today. I ordered on UberEats, but there were no peas available to order. I got pudding with chips and gravy, but it looked like a half portion of chips and everything was just warm. On January 6th, 2023, I had sausage, chips, peas, and gravy, and it was delicious with a good sized portion.
