"What a fantastic find! A friend and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening around 8:30pm and were warmly welcomed by friendly locals and the staff. The landlord was also very pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised to find leftover roast potatoes from the Sunday menu placed around the bar and tables for patrons to enjoy for free. They paired perfectly with the pints of Guinness that I had. My friend couldn't get enough of them! We loved the cozy Chesterfield sofas next to the log burner, even though it wasn't lit due to the restaurant already being well-heated. The decor was beautiful and created a comfortable atmosphere. I have quickly grown fond of this place and highly recommend it. We plan to try the menu next time and will provide a review. Thank you for a lovely experience!"

2nd time ordering off Deliveroo . Good fab , fresh and hot. Very reasonably priced. Good stay in date night option. Probably the best takeaway on Deliveroo ! Highly recommend fish burger and loaded chicken bbq fries. Food: 5

The restaurant offers free parking. The room is styled like the 1940s, and it is nice and clean. The separate toilet and shower are a good size. Previous complaints about the green light from the emergency lighting being too bright at night have been addressed with the addition of a black band. The only downside is that the pub can be a bit loud until around 10:30, but that is to be expected as it is located on a high street.
