"If one goes to eat somewhere with a French name it is not unreasonable to expect it to be largely french. We had a Korean sommelier who was abrupt and hardly spoke to us . We were with some French speaking guests and we were at least assigned an excellent French speaking waiter from Nice. This made the difference in our overall experience. The food was good , although the toast with the salmon starter was burnt. The French fries with the main were over salted and inedible. Are you trying to be a French Brasserie or are you pretending? If you are a Brasserie then charge Brasserie prices and not restaurant prices and get a French sommelier if you think a Brasserie needs one!!! As a Mayfair restaurant the owners would do well to look at the entrance . The awning is discoloured and looking very dirty and tired. Overall the staff were polite and attentive."

most pleasant meal, eating was well cooked and presented and for the price we paid (under 100 £ for two courses) I felt excellent worth for money. would highly recommend this restaurant for a good honest French cuisine. View menu

My friend and I really liked this place the food was good an original, nice selection of wines by the glass and excellent and friendly service. The atmosphere was just right, not too formal, but indeed bistrot style. Not cheap though!

Surly waitress. Korean/japanese sommelier utterly disinterested. Food very good brasserie style and good value for london standards however do not expect a wow factor. For same money i would recommend galvin bistro, warmer atmosphere, definitely better service and some wow dishes.

Dinner for two with one cocktail and one glass of wine each was £180. The food was lovely and the service was great, but I left feeling like it was about 20% too expensive without being exquisite. The cannette was incredible, but the broccoli a bit boring. Great stories behind some of the small touches, like butter from a tiny producer in the Pyrenees. The ambiance is great too very old world brasserie if a rather Mayfair ish group of diners. View menu

Service very good. Sommelier a little inexperienced (a few drops spilt here and there, although not on me)! Clear to see he is learning his trade but a very pleasant young man and paired wines to my courses perfectly. Escargot starter was beautifully presented and delicious beyond words. Duck canettes main also lip smackingly yummy. Cheese to finish no better or worse than a hundred other restaurants. So I'm saying it was average. No port wine sold here? Blue cheese needs port nobody does it better! Expensive. But it is Mayfair so chin up! Will definitely be back, good show.

Very pretty, elegant brasserie in the heart of Mayfair. Charming service from the outset and, even though we were at the latest lunch sitting, with just a few other diners, we didn't feel at all rushed. Food was well prepared and tasty and rather more robust in both nature and presentation than other Michelin restaurants we have visited. My query about the mushrooms was quickly addressed (I have a severe intolerance to certain varieties and a helping of lovely, sweet chantenay carrots substituted, which matched with the canette perfectly.. We certainly did not go hungry: in fact, of the four of us, I was the only one to plump for a dessert (delicious, light rum baba with pineapple shavings a...
