"This is a small restaurant with tables separated by sections making it little difficult to get in and out. The staff spoke between themselves quite loudly and it was obvious when there was a bit of a dispute. The atmosphere would be much improved if you couldn’t overhear all of their discussions when dining. The food however was great! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3"

""Sometimes things just happen. Occasionally, a restaurant might lose a reservation for six people, but that was not the case at No.1 Bistro! The staff were lovely and chatty, and the food was excellent and perfectly portioned. I started with the gin-infused salmon, followed by the traditional haddock and chips. A casual remark from one of our group about my favorite wife's birthday the next day prompted a delightful surprise: a plate decorated with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate and accompanied by absolutely stunning white and milk chocolate cubes. It was a Monday night, so the restaurant wasn’t too busy, which worked out well for us Sassanachs. I would highly recommend this place (just remember to double-check your reservation)!""

"Accidentally find the restaurant…by the water! Of course ; but their food even surprise you more! Amicable servants, decent meal, nice ambiance…fabulous, even for the pre-dinner bread with the starters! The day before was my birthday, this experience made me feel like a celebration once again. Highly recommended, the snail, the lamb chop the Marseille fish soup and the meat-paste too! Especially even the complimentary mashed potatoes which comes with the main dish was good. For the next time I will try the Burgundy beef. Thanks for giving me such a good time."

"I remember we came to our rented apartment vey late, nothing except this and one place was open near by. I would not suggest anyone going there, pizza that I have ordered( we took it to apartment and ate there, as much as we ate, because it’s ended up in bin), had been quite blunt in taste, and quite soggy, aftertaste was like cartoon box. The place itself looked very filthy. I was too tired to look around at first, but once we ordered me and my kids sat down waiting, and then I looked around and understood that it was too late to go elsewhere because food was paid and already being made. For speed I would give them 5 stars. After food was made I asked what sauce we will get with pizza. The boy inside asked what sauce we want, I asked if we can get garlic mayonnaise. He gave us small plastic container and asked £1 for it. So if you are ready to throw your money for something that will end up in bin, go ahead. That was my personal experience with this place."

"First time eating at the Northern Sole and I will definitely be back! I can honestly say that they served best kebab I’ve ever had as you can see from the pictures!???? The food out of there is so fresh and homemade, just how any restaurant should be. Their prices are amazing considering the high quality of food you are getting and the customer service is excellent. Will be returning very soon????"
