"the best I ever eaten? was taken by some local friends from us into the queen’s head pub, service was wonderful, mostly younger staff, but all incredibly attentive. I personally am a lover of all the seafoods and I ordered all the king prawns with coriander and garlic. to wish more seafood, was prepared as simplistic as this, with broth, to mix the wonderful aromas on the plate and otherwise make the fresh of the ingredients shine. for the main course I ordered the mustels with thai green curry. the size of the portion was massive, which I could no longer have been enthusiastic about. the curry sauce itself was thick and tastefully other mushes, which were prepared in the same way as I tried, were very watery and lacked in seasoning. no problem. will not come too often after dorking, only out of the circumstance, but if we do, we will come back in definitiw."

Exceptional food, honestly really really good, will be coming back for more. The service was also brilliant, everyone was super friendly. Luckily it wasn't too busy and the tipi was heated to a comfortable temperature. The pork and cider pie was fantastic, possibly the best we've had. I don't know what was in the butter that came with the focaccia but it was delicious.

amazing time and amazing meal. to be honest, it's the first time since the beginning of the lockdown that I had a real pub experience I forgot how it felt. the weather will be sunny and 21c did not hurt. we sat outside under the top. service was great, very warm and attentive. Finally, they have frozen margaritas like what I had seen in savannah georgia. they have stolen my idea to introduce them to Britain! View menu

This pub is consistently impressive. The prices are quite reasonable considering the value you receive. Everything here is of exceptional quality, from the food to the service, and the building itself is beautiful and picturesque. However, the real highlight has to be the garden, which they have renovated with teepees, creating a lovely half-outdoor, half-covered space. In the summer, if you sit by the front windows, they open up and it feels like you're outside, while in winter, it's cozy and warm. The menu changes frequently, with an emphasis on using fresh, seasonal ingredients as much as possible!

We came this pub for lunch after a morning visit to Denbies Wine Estate. The pub is very lovely decorated. It has both indoor, outdoor and an iconic tent seating. Reservations are recommended to secure your spot, especially if you want to sit outside or in the tent. We booked 2 days earlier before our visit. The food was good quality and generous in portion. We had the duck leg, quinoa burger, fish cake and fish and chips. The service was good and easy to get attention to ask for refill of water or sauces. The price was fair. With a couple starters to share, a main each and two drinks among 4 of us, we spent £21 per person. Will come back again when visits dorking next time.
