"Been here a few times quality varies from very good to awful. Last visit the fish tasted ‘old’. Pre ordered but don’t know why I bothered as no organisation for orders stood in line with everyone else so maybe that’s why fish was not good as got my order 10minutes after I should only then because I pushed my way forward. Only one person serving, fryers standing around. Would rather go further afield to get consistent quality better service."

Eaten at The Rembrandt many times now, both takeaway and the restaurant. I would not hesitate to recommend. The takeaway portions are huge and always freshly cooked. The restaurant service is always friendly and efficient. Great job The Rembrandt! View menu

When we moved to Easton looked forward to being able to go here after all what we'd heard. Unfortunately we've had undercooked batter and a lot of grease when we've had it and it's about 1.5 times more expensive than other chip shops. Personally will drive a bit further for better and cheaper

"Where do I even begin? The service from the woman behind the bar was shocking. When I inquired about dairy-free options for my son, I was told that nothing could be modified and that they don't cater to allergies at all! I pointed out the menu's claim that they could accommodate such needs, but my concerns were met with an eye roll. I then tried to order him some chips, but was told they were fried in the same oil as dairy and meat products, and since we are vegetarian, that wouldn't work. I asked about the vegan dishes, only to learn that they are also prepared alongside meat products, so there's no guarantee they would actually be vegan. At this point, my daughters had already become excited about eating out and the play area, so I reluctantly decided to go along with it and ordered three sandwiches on granary bread and a child's fish and chips. My son had a packet of crisps. When the sandwiches arrived, they were absolutely terrible. The cheese and onion sandwich consisted of two slices of cheap store-bought bread, some pre-grated cheese, and a few onion slices—without even a hint of butter! It certainly wasn’t inexpensive; we paid £45 for four soft drinks, three sandwiches, and a child's meal. As for the play area, it was concerning—there were sharp screws poking through the wood chips, loose sharp fixtures on top of the slide, and a large exposed electric cable under the swings! We decided to leave swiftly; it was such a disappointing way to end our holiday, when it should have been a lovely final meal before heading home. I was appalled by their attitude towards me—I felt like an inconvenience. The food was awful, and I genuinely recommend avoiding this place if you are vegan or have allergies; even if a dish is labeled vegan, they certainly don’t take the necessary precautions to keep it separate from meat products. It’s truly unfortunate, as the location by the river is beautiful, and we were all so excited to be there, but we left feeling very disappointed. We definitely won't be returning."
