"When I had eaten several times in the shepherd and dog, I was very disappointed last Wednesday. we waited at least 20 minutes for someone to pick up our order, and it was almost an hour when we had set ourselves until we got to eat. we chose from the a la carte menu where past eating was excellent, but on Wednesday the appetizers and main course were very mediocre. nothing like taste, presentation and quality at previous visits. the only saving gnade was the sharing gloomy. we stayed at least one more hour at the table talk and the desert plates and coffee saucers were just left and not removed. my friends and I have often visited for special occasions, but at £40 per head for a midday week without wine we expect better service and eat."

book for Sunday dinner and it was not disappointed. the waitresses we had very attentive, and there was no waiting time for our table. many bratkartoffels! one I say, is the size of the coke bottle that are tiny and around £3. I think you could look at that if you had a couple, it would push the bill up. View menu

although the personal was very pleasant, they did not have to erase a lot of rubbish left by former diners under the tables. also the damentoilette was illuminated throughout the evening with empty toilet rolls and therefore I do not think it was checked regularly. Eating was disappointing and it's really good in that.

A good gastro pub for meeting up with friends and family. Not too noisy so you can chat comfortably. Food well presented and tasty. Good vegetarian options, even one vegan! Had to wait quite a while and asked three times for a coffee. Was given excuse that they were under staffed hadn't noticed that before as the service was ok.
