"Four of us visited Six Bells for Christmas Party menu. The whole experience was excellent. The soup starter delicious, the tiramisu and Christmas pudding desserts excellent, but the main star of the show was the turkey roast which was very generously portioned, lovely turkey, plenty of gorgeous roasties and loads of well-cooked sprouts. Plenty of gravy. Compliments to the chef Nothing was too much trouble, the service was friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Jen, our main server who was professional, welcoming and helpful throughout the evening. Definitely recommended."

Lovley pub, good food, friendly staff. We had the bar snacks and they were superb. Some of the best we've ever had. Worth a visit just for those.

Been visiting for years but not for a while. Really lovely, tasty beautifully cooked food at a reasonable price. We had Sunday roast and butternut gnocci, both were delicious and great quality. Still a traditional cosy pub with lovely relaxed atmosphere, service was great too.

Frequent visitor to the 6 Bells, always friendly and welcoming. after having a baby I am more aware of facilities that different venues have to offer. I am sad to learn that the 6 Bells do not offer baby changing facilities, their website states family friendly but as I found out maybe not friendly to families with babies. Therefore I am unable to visit with my child.

Went for Sunday lunch, ordered the duo roast which is £4 extra than the beef roast however you get less beef and a small portion of chicken which was extremely dry! Beef over cook full of sinew and only one slice given per plate, the beef roast is 3 slices so the maths doesn’t quite add up. Yorkie is massive but so dry and crispy everyone’s was the same so it wasn’t a one off looks great but no flavour and that sums up the whole roast no flavour no texture won’t be returning.

The Six Bells in Thame is a fabulous place to eat or just have a drink. The pub itself is full of character and spotlessly clean with a great outside area, including a charming ‘barn’ undercover section with heaters and plenty of tables in the sunshine. What really tops it for me is the great team who work so hard to make you feel welcome. Naomi, Gen Charlotte are an absolute credit to The Bells, they always give a genuine warm welcome and fantastic service. Thank you Team Bells, we will be back!

Service is nothing to complain about and the pub itself is nice. But the food is an absolute scam of money. Portion sizes are ridiculously small as if the six bells is some sort of fine dining Michelin star experience its not and for what I paid £20 for what were essentially three sides, which was supposedly a 3 for 2 deal.. what I got was nothing special and so small in size it was just comical. The other items on the menu suffered from the same symptoms namely absurd prices for small and uninspiring meals , I would recommend eating pub food somewhere else.

"We usually love coming to Cafe Rouge in Henley, always a treat for us and we are always looking forward to it. However the most recent visit was awful and it’s been going downhill over our last coupes of visits. We booked a table for my father in laws birthday. Upon being seated, we were informed that 3 of the main course dishes were unavailable.. pretty much half of the ‘mains’ options. We don’t come to Cafe Rouge for Burgers or salad! We opted for 3 portions of Mussels as had them here before and they’re very good! Mother in law just had pate as there was nothing else she wanted. These were possibly the worst mussels we’ve ever had. You could tell they weren’t fresh (cooked from frozen for sure) and there was barely any sauce in the pot! Usually they are flavourful and abundant in sauce! No check back was performed by the manager on duty..it was a quiet Monday so wasn’t exactly run off his feet. So we couldn’t alert him. Even upon clearing we weren’t ask how our meal was! Just asked if we had finished. We decided to mention they were awful to which the manager told us he would inform the kitchen. When he came back to finish clearing, my partner asked if they were frozen or fresh mussels, to which the manager replied yes, they are frozen. Wasn’t expecting that but you could totally tell! They tasted like cardboard! We had a coffee and a pudding and to be fair to the manager he didn’t charge us for one portion of mussels and the coffees we ordered. The Bill was certainly not worth what we had. Didn’t leave a tip, which we never normally do, but the service was non existent. Manager was more interested in what was on his phone. Won’t be rushing back"
