"After having a very good takeaway from the Tandoori, I thought I’d try out this place given the reviews below. The night didn’t start off great, I placed an order and the person over the phone had broken English and was extremely difficult to understand....After some difficulty, I managed to place my order. When I went to collect my takeaway, the mood was pretty dull. I can understand that we’re in lockdown but a few more smiles would’ve made it a bit more welcoming. However, a rather small waiter with a beard did try and come and shake my hand. Probably forgot about the social distancing measures. Nonetheless, they were able to get the collection order to me within or so minutes which was good. For appetisers, I ordered a chicken tikka and fish tikka. The chicken tikka was slightly tough and burnt around the edges. I can appreciate that chicken tikka doesn’t travel amazingly but it was slightly tougher than I’d probably expect. Fish tikka was okay but wasn’t fresh. Definitely defrosted then cooked as it was very flaky instead of tender. For the mains, we went for Mango Chicken and King Prawn Bhuna. These were below par. I knew the Mango Chicken would be mild and slightly sweet, but I didn’t realise it’ll tip me off for diabetes. So much sugar. King prawn bhuna was very bland. For a dish that’s meant to have a thick sauce, it was more or less just a king prawn dish swimming around thin gravy. Lacked a lot of flavour. The mushroom rice I ordered didn’t taste as if it was made to order. Felt like they put it in the microwave or that it was already in its container hours ago. The grains were slightly and the mushrooms felt like they lacked seasoning. As we’re in lockdown I can understand with social distancing and furloughing staff, it could potentially lead to poor standards but I couldn’t imagine it being this bad. I’m hoping this was a blip and it’ll return to normal standards post December"

Really nice food, very speedy and friendly welcome. Would be a shame if we don’t keep this business going.

I absolutely loved my meal at this restaurant. The lamb dansak with mushrooms was delicious and I can't wait to go back next week. I really enjoy this place.

Upon arrival, we did not feel very welcome. The staff was quick to take our orders, but the service was slow overall. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food, and the kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed with takeout orders. This was a terrible excuse for such a bad experience. View menu

with their online portal it is really easy to order the withdrawal from here and to eat nice when it came from a really friendly person, it could not blame at all. also have some sorts with their different signature dishes, refreshing, a choice in contrast to the...usual favorites.

Me and a friend had an amazing meal on Friday the salmon tikka starter was just divine melted in your mouth and so tasty. My Bakara was full of flavour one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The atmosphere was great too we enjoyed it...so much we didn’t want to leave at but thems are the rules! I will definitely be back

I ordered takeout from this restaurant, and could tell they were busy. I was looking forward to a delicious meal when I got home, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The curry was not good, the naan bread was soggy, and the papadums smelled like they were not cooked in fresh oil. I will likely avoid dining at this place in the future. View menu

Good quality food and polite service. Was very busy as they are still giving the deals discount making a meal for three a bargain. The food is delicious. Tandoori flavours are lovely. Naan breads are scrumptious. Good selection of beers and wines. Covid rules in...place. Waiters often had nose out of face covering is the only negative. Would happily return even when the deals discount ends.

Previously regular pre-pandemic to visit was a real tasty that we thought to look back, but will not return soon if the staff do not cheer and remember what they are in the business of creating a warm welcoming environment and experience. the food was nice, which at least helped, but in the expensive side, but the evening was completely spoiled by all the workers who did not seem to want to be there. I wanted to say something, but was so shocked.

"this was my birthday contract with the children (in their 40's go to lunch big situation, but the management is missing in action. we smiled at the typos. the menu, but it turned out to be a symptom of deficiency...view to detail. very friendly (but quite inexperienced waiting staff. great location and a very warm welcome. water came pretty fast. the starters were pretty good (3 ham hock croquettes and a panko chicken. the mains were another thing. two fish and chips very nice, good portions and well presented. burger was terrible. here is the menu description 6oz coarsely ground beef burger, candied speck, soft bevel, cheddar cheese, salattomate . the reality was a burger in a bungalow with a piece soggy salat and maybe some cheese. no speck, no tomats, no wobble so £18 for an average qualitysburger and they have to pay extra for riders! To conclude that there was at least 5 10 minutes after the other net, so we sat just wait and had to ask the waitress when it came. description • crispy confit ente bein, herby buttermilk waffel, fried due egg with maple senf dressing the reality that was inspected and watery it looked out and tasted as if it were boiled to death. the herby buttermilk waffel was chewing and certainly in a blind taste test I would swear that there is no more crumble in. to cover, it was cold. the sniffing was nicely spread in the waffles that gave them a taste. we also ordered the knochenmark from the menu. No one had said to the poor waitress that they should have been ordered to tell the diners what was going on and no. the menu. when we complained, the manager had not even come the courtesy and see us they left the poor junior waiterin to explain that the speck had not come with the delivery to the last day (one ever heard that he jumps out of the super market to buy some? and there was no excuse for the missing tomats, very badly sorry for us, so on. desserts the brownie was very nice, but the eton mess was a catastrophe. it came in a small delicate glass. in the ground a buckling of whipped cream with some slabs of stone hard meringue and some earthy with stems overfilled with some earthberry syrup. after bending the spoon. we decided to solve it by hand. I was afraid that I would break a tooth on the notched position that really needed to be served with a hammer. the only way to eat the earthy was to pick them up from the body, to bite and to eat to which time our hands were covered in sauce. on the plus side, they drew the price of the burger and Eton fair and 25% of the duck, as we had 3 glasses of wine and a koks, the bill was still over £120 without drinking money. to say that by my choice of restaurants, I would be embarrassing a rough understatement."
