I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with excellent local draft beer, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. The service was top-notch, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5.

We went for a meal and we really impressed. We had a 3 course meal but I couldn’t finish my crumble as I was to full. The flavours were amazing and we will definitely be going back. Complements to the chef.

We parked our camper in the car park and decided to stop by for a few drinks and a snack. The bar was charming, the camembert was delightful, and the staff and patrons were very friendly. The cleanliness measures for COVID were well taken care of, and the establishment was very welcoming to dogs.

The staff at this restaurant were very welcoming and the food was excellent, all cooked fresh. We arrived for lunch after a long journey with a puppy and a baby, and they were very accommodating and helpful. The vegetarian pie was delicious and my husband loved the fresh scampi. We would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

we are so glad that we have booked this pub for lunch as stop on our walk along the ridgeway at one of the wettest days in the year. the greeting was fantastic and the renter fired a fire to dry our tired bones. the lunch was great with a very varied menu with many veggie options. great service without hanging around waiting for much needed eating and a good pint! thank you.

I would have given a score of zero if I could! I visited The Swan while staying at a local Airbnb. Our first choice was The Crown and Horns, but they were closed due to flooding. We arrived at 6pm with a group of 6, ordered drinks at the bar, and then sat at our table. The waitress was pleasant but swore in front of us, which was inappropriate. She took our order at 6:30pm and our starters arrived at 7:15pm. The bread and olives were clearly from a jar and very vinegary, the king prawns in garlic butter were plain grilled prawns on white bread. The crispy squid was actually calamari, not squid.
