We enjoy our Sunday roast and this is the best. All the trimmings. All the family was made welcome and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will be back

Great vibe, great music, great choice of drinks, amazing food and the friendliest bar staff in town! Plus pub dog frank dogs welcome what more do you need.

Only went in for a pint before having a meal down in the Quays. Seems ok. Regulars are interesting.....TBH can't really say much. Seems a nice enough pub, heard their food is good.

I was just a Sunday roast that I think is a rehearsal period. I had roasted pork with delicious crisp, freshly cooked veg and amroast potatoes. faster, more efficient and friendly service in all areas. it's a thumb of me

Great Experience. I had the mixed fish platter which was cooked lovely. My husband had sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Hat off to the chef. The guy was friendly behind the bar and all staff very welcoming. Definitely recommend

update: new cook! herr yip has taken over the kitchen (wed-sat) and has brought a delicious menu with its own signature of oriental delicacies. ramen and burger were excellent. we will try the rest. under new management. excellent food and service. local talent entertained us while we enjoyed a pub atmosphere.

we had the feeling that we were warmly welcomed by the workers who were embarrassing and helpful. they had a good list on the special board and an amazing every day menu. the tall ship was well decorated and clean. the food was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. we just went because it was my birthday and we visited the opposite, but we will definitely try again, more amazing food

I've been here a few times so far and the food is amazing. They serve lobster/crab and plenty of other dishes if you're not keen on seafood. The food is really fresh and served to a high standard and there's a good selection of drinks too. It's never been too busy either. The pub doesn't look like anything special but it's in a good location and the food/drinks make up for it. There's also an outdoor area.

nice lunch here, only reopened after Covid-19 and would definitely recommend. the staff was friendly, attentive, friendly and very helpful. eating was absolutely beautiful. relaxed, unpretentious and inconvenient. they decide a little dated, but if they choose restaurants for their eating and they want to change from the usual mainstream chains give this young one try. they want to use seasonal products that are a winner for me. I chose whitebait starter and scollops from their special board.
