"I made a reservation for 8pm on 26/08/2020 as there were no earlier available tables, which was not a problem for me. However, after ordering 2 skillets, I was informed a few minutes later that they were not available. I was disappointed but ordered something else. I expressed my disappointment to the staff, but from that point on, I felt uncomfortable. The service lacked friendliness, with no eye contact or pleasantries. Even when paying the bill, there was no feeling of warmth. Overall, the experience ruined my evening and I do not plan on returning to this restaurant."

First time I have stayed in a pub B&B.; Room was basic, old style wooden pine beds, clean but cobwebs behind the bed. No wifi in the rooms only in the public areas.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant today and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly owners. We had a lovely stay for one night in June 2019. The room was very nice and was ready early. The food was extremely good and we ate lunch, dinner and breakfast there. View menu

What a gem! My husband and I popped in on the off chance on our way back from a Landrover show in Peterborough, we had booked a hotel near the show but it was horrific so we decided to drive home to Lincoln. The Tally Ho certainly made up for it, friendly staff and superb food all very reasonably priced. Thank you Tally Ho for saving our evening. We will be back!

The Crawley supporters were on their travels again to Lincoln City and again stopping off at the Tally Ho Inn on the A15 Sean and his staff made us very welcome and the buffet provided was excellent enough for us to have second helpings on the coach on the way home after our 1 0 victory over the league leaders we will return for our trip to Grimsby later in the season View menu

We went for lunch on a Saturday. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was a 30-45 minute wait for food, even though the pub was empty except for a few tables with children outside. We decided to order something simple - ham, egg, and chips. When our food finally arrived, the chips were cold and the egg appeared to have been sitting out for a while. The pub had an inflatable assault course for children in the garden, which could be a great attraction for families with kids. However, I would not recommend going there for a meal!

Went to The Tally Ho Inn on Christmas Eve with our daughter and Son in law for a meal. We hadn't been before and so didn't know what it was like. We very pleasantly suprised as to how nice this place is inside and the Landlady who served us during the evening was lovely and friendly as was her husband who is the chef who came out later on to have a word. The food was delicious and we will go again(in fact our daughter and husband have already been again for a Sunday Lunch and said it was excellent). Had a really enjoyable Christmas Eve.

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
