What an excellent experience, the food was excellent but the staff were faultless,their attention to all our requirements were over and above normal service. We will defintely be back, The plants in the nursery were also of a very high standard and were obviously well cared for. Cheers........Dave and Elaine Wood.

The service is first class. Including finding out someone was lactose intolerant and an offer of pudding with cream was pointed out. The pudding was superb. The food is 6star. The cost is good. This is in the best garden centre restaurant we have visited. Nothing was too much trouble. Obviously fresh local ingredients.

We thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea here as a birthday treat, delicious food, very friendly staff, couldn’t have done more for us. Lovely to go somewhere so accommodating for dietary requirements, my gluten and dairy free afternoon tea was incredible and I didn’t feel like an inconvenience! Also dog friendly. What an excellent find. We have been to the Garden Centre many times over the years, but never eaten here as we always have something along our travels elsewhere. Today, we thought we would give it a go, we are soooo glad we did, absolute perfection. I have the Big breakfast, my other half had the smaller one as she is not so greedy as me

The staff were very welcoming. The food was of a very good quality, served hot and fresh. It was busy and is clearly very popular but the staff were very attentive and we were not rushed. I don't eat dairy and they checked very thoroughly that it was not an alergy. Lovely woodburner in the corner kept the whole place cosy. We will definitly visit again.

We visited this garden centre and tea room quite a few time during an extended stay in the area and we just loved it! The food is fantastic (the breakfasts are particularly great), the staff are just absolutely lovely (Sandy made us particularly welcome on quite a few of our visits). The only negative? Wow what a place The shop and. Garden choices are amazing The staff are so helpful and friendly,our first visit. And they sung happy birthday to my husband and put a candle in his pudding . The food is all fresh. And top notch , we was served by a lovely lady called jan and sandy Also Luke was very friendly also Also a mention to the chef. All the food was amazing so he deserves some praise to It’s all wheelchair

Lovely restaurant. Stopped in for lunch with my mum. Quiche of the day was amazing (spinach, red pepper and feta). Came with a huge salad and dressings, couldn't even eat it all! Very rare I over eat on salad. All so fresh tasting. Earl Grey tea was delicious. Wish I had room for some of their amazing cakes. Staff were really friendly, helpful and prompt. It was a really lovely lunch. All pro's, no con's. Thank you.

We booked afternoon tea to celebrate a friends birthday; I phoned to book and explain that I have allergies (gluten and milk) would it be possible to arrange something for me too.. the gentleman I spoke to could not have been more helpful and left me confident that I could eat safely. We arrived on Saturday to a warm welcome and were very well looked after. Fabulous service as the tea flowed. The food was fantastic and I had an afternoon tea that was friendly and looked as good as my friends. We had a lovely time and were grateful for a box to take the leftovers home as were to full to finish. View menu
