"I've been here many times and usually go for the duck pineapple red curry or massaman. This time we had the mixed plate starter which includes pork rib chicken satay, fish cake and spring roll. Sauces were satay and sweet chilli. Satay sauce was lovely but the fish cake was some weird spongy texture and was very oily not sure what it was made with. I went for the seafood stirfry for mains which had mussels, unfortunately some of the shells were broken so I had to pick bits out. The squid and prawns were lovely although the sauce was a deep red palm oil consistency and very slippery and splashed on my jacket when I cut some of the squid. The rest of the meal I had to eat the big peices of squid whole for fear of getting more oil on myself. Also this dish is very spicy. My partner had the bbq chicken gai (hot plate dish) which was really tender and delicious. The restaurant was very noisy but then it was Saturday night. Huge table of girls squealing loudly so I had to shout for my partner to hear me across the small table. The service is good and this place is always a good backup but not spectacular."

One of the best thai restaurants in London. The staff is fantastic. Gaeng Pet Phed is the duck curry. The duck is soft and juicy. Try it.

Stopped here for an early dinner and enjoyed everything we ate. It all was really tasty and had generous amounts of meat in. Not haute cuisine but really tasty!

We love Thai Orchard SO much. It always feels like we are in a tiny piece of Thailand when we go there. The staff are the nicest people ever and we are very loyal customers. Keep it up Thai Orchard

The veggie option (tofu) could be better. Have never eaten in, only had takeaway but the service on the phone is great and the delivery is quick. Food could just be slightly better quality. Before I was vegetarian I did try an amazing duck curry.

I ate here a couple of days ago. I had corn cakes as a starter and was really disappointed as it was just sweetcorn in batter which was tasteless, no seasoning at all, and they come in 5 small tiny pieces! A bit pricey for what they serve. I had Thai curry for the main and and it was very tasty. Not the best Thai, but overall experience was good. View menu

Very pleasant meal. Started with salted crab and squid. My girlfriend had the pad Thai that she thought was tasty but perhaps should've tried something different. I had the tiger prawn curry. Excellent portion and exceptionally tasty. Big menu, like many Thai restaurants. Would happily go again. Would recommend. We didn't have a booking but it's fairly big and they have lots of tables. Also they have delivery and collection.

Came here with my family (partner 2.5 year old son . Lovely choice of Thai food and great drinks on offer. We had 3 starters (because there was too many to pic from! and 2 mains. The Pad Thai was delicious and my bf ordered the duck curry which was nice also. I’m particularly impressed with the staff, the lady came over and kept checking in with us. My son was proving to be difficult (the witching hour!! and she was just so joyful around him. We’ll come coming again soon!

"Me and my flatmates went to Naifs to celebrate one of our own's MA degree with a nice meal, and we are so glad that we did. Anne and the team were incredibly personable and friendly, which really stood out to us. As somebody who has worked many years in hospitality, one can tell that there is clearly a very tight-knit team at work here who does what they do out of and with love. We really enjoyed the concluding chat with the kitchen team about the amazingly delicious olive oil they served us with the bread it comes straight from the chef's uncle's olive plantation! The atmosphere was really lovely as well, and a lot of thought clearly went into it: there were lots of candles, soft light, beautiful serving plates. We found the decor very tasteful in general: the restaurant has a cozy, but elevated bistro feel to it which makes it the perfect place for a broad variety of occasions. We had the set menu, which at 27 GBP came at very good value. The menu really demonstrated just how colorful vegan and vegetarian spreads can be: the colors on the table alone were such a delight to behold! Needless to say it also all tasted amazing. We particularly liked the mushrooms in lemony broth, the dhal and the aubergine stew. Every dish had a creative spin on it that made it into something we had never tasted in that way before. The wine that was recommended to us was very nice as well. We finished our meal with a selection of British cheeses, which was very well put together. Naifs focuses on seasonal and regional ingedrients, which is another factor that really convinced us, and which is something that more restaurants should focus on. Whether you're a veggie or not: if you want to dine at an all around truly special place, you need to try Naifs. Keep up the awesome work, guys we will be back very, very soon."

"my friend and I went to capitulate for dinner to celebrate his birthday, as was capitula, we thought the only decent restaurant in blackheath. all the others seem to be pushing down quickly. we have been in the past often in the capitulas, and the food and services were good we had no appetizers and ordered only one main meal (black foam and black bell), because we were not huge hungry because we were eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! we had a glass of wine and were offered a piece of bread. 35 minutes later we waited for our food. in this time no one came to ask if we were in order or offer us more drinks. I asked the manager if our food was ready. he said it would be 5 minutes without a statement of delay then disappeared 10 minutes later there was no sign of food or manager. That is why we decided to go because we lost interest in eating. we have to go and the manager came by. he told us the delay was due to a big party in the ground floor. this was not the case, there was a group of 8 people who had finished their meal for a long time. we were there earlier when it was much more business and the service was not so bad. while we waited, we saw a customer who had finished their meal, slipped £20 into the manager hand when he left. Perhaps the workers need bribe to provide good services? it is such a scandal, but another blackheath restaurant has become complicit and believes that it with the treatment of its customers without respect. I will vote for one with my feet and will not eat again in this restaurant. I will also leave everyone I don't know to go there"
