"When we arrived, the door was left open. There was a strong smell of urine at the entrance, likely due to the neon yellow stain in the bathroom. There was no air conditioning or mini fridge in the room. The bed was comfortable. The cocktails were overly sweet and watered down, with the gin drinks being the worst. The bartender argued that he followed the recipe, but refused to remake the drink when it was not to our liking. The service was rude all around, with a wait of over 20 minutes for a waitress to take our breakfast order, only to have the eggs cooked too hard. Overall, a disappointing experience."

I ordered a delicious pint of Fuller's beer, but unfortunately, the BLT sandwich I had was very disappointing.

Lovely hotel, had a room away from street. Very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Own Nespresso machine and some complementary chocolate helps.

We went for drinks with family and friends. There are nearby shops, boat trips along the canal, and cafes. The old town is lovely for river walks and has easy access to the common. The service and location both received a rating of 4, and the hotel highlights a romantic atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant with friends for a drink and was let down by the pina colada cocktail I ordered. It was served in a regular glass with minimal drink and ice cubes, not resembling the coconut drink I expected. It lacked coconut milk or cream, disappointing overall. However, the passionfruit martini I ordered instead was much better and more enjoyable.

Lovely, lovely hotel. Expensive food but exactly what I expected and I was stuffed afterwards. I had a full English the first morning, which was ok, however had Eggs Benedict the next day which were phenomenal. Had a Chai tea second day for elevenses, delicious. Bed really comfy, bathroom tastefully decorated, and it had nice soap/shampoo etc. Room was quite small but the price was very reasonable £62. In fact, that's VERY reasonable for such a beautiful place. Smack bang in the middle of town. Would recommend
