"The Greyhound and TwentyOne hosted our wedding mid April and we cannot thank them enough. After being let down by our initial venue we contacted Jack and from the first phone call we were reassured that we were going to have a great day. Jack had great communication throughout with multiple meetings leading up to the big day, to ensure we could achieve what we wanted. Jack was enthusiastic and accommodating of vendors that we had already booked. The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained. We went to set up some personalised items the day before the wedding and there was staff unloading drinks orders, prepping food, and a window cleaner was onsite. It just shows the care that not only goes into an event but the upkeep of the building. On the day there was plenty of staff who were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible!!! All of our guests could not fault the food, and even the fussiest of eaters enjoyed the hot, fresh produce. You couldn’t not love it! They catered to our wedding breakfast mid afternoon as well as our evening food and the quality remained a high standard. We also didn’t want a wedding cake however the Greyhound were able to create an alternative with a brownie tower, which was an absolute hit. Nothing was left at the end of the night which is exactly what we wanted. Again, fresh and tasty! We cannot recommend them more highly, if you’re having a function/event and want a beautiful venue with great food then this is the place!! THANK YOU Mr and Mrs Grace"

"Fantastic and we would definitely go again. Food was good.... Service was great! Couple of areas just for feedback. Gravy could have done with being a bit thicker (our personal taste) and probably in a gravy boat, rather than already over the roast. Any it did get rather noisy when all the tables were full. I believe there were quieter areas, so would request that area on our return. Other than that. Fantastic..... My family who had not been before were very impressed. (thankyou)!"

"I don`t like to give poor reviews, but I cannot agree with the recent glowing reports on this forum. We arrived at 6.45pm to a totally empty car-park for our pre-booked dinner. We considered leaving but decided to stay, I checked with the barman that food was being served, it was, so we ordered some drinks and food. We were given a very standard pub menu, our selection of Mushrooms in Garlic, Whitebait followed by Fish Pie and Scampi and Chips. The starters were ok but the fish pie was very dry and appeared to be over cooked, the scampi was good. Two other customers came in who managed to get the undivided attention of both the barman and the chef for a length of time. Our meal took two hours for just two courses and with only two other customers present. We will not be returning."

"We decided to have lunch at a pub before a meeting in Newmarket. We thought it would be more enjoyable to have a nice lunch at a leisurely pace before the gates opened at 3pm. We had lunch at this pub in May 2011 and had to check old diaries to remember its location. We were pleased to find that it was still open and the website provided helpful information about their menus. I made a reservation through Facebook and received a prompt response. We were warmly greeted and promptly served. The pub had a cozy and recently renovated feel, with a restaurant area in the back. The menu offered a good selection of reasonably priced starters, mains, and desserts. There was something for everyone, and the drink selection was also impressive. We noticed that there were many older patrons, which made us confident that the food was of high quality. After our meal, we enjoyed sitting in the beer garden at the front, overlooking the primary school and village green. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience that prepared us well for an afternoon and evening at the races. We promised ourselves not to wait another 8 years before returning."

"I did a pin sticking pub pick for Suffolk Sunday lunch on Google maps and decided to give the Three ways pub a visit. After speaking to the landlord booked a table,as he seemed very nice on the phone taking the booking. The pub was over an hour away in an area not visited before. When we arrived the car park was nearly full,an indicator of a popular pub in a quite remote area. On entering was greeted by the landlord and our drink order taken. At least 2 real ales on tap, another good sign of popularity for a rural pub. We were seated and our lunch order quickly taken followed by a very quick service. Only managed half pint of beer before service. Vegetables served separate as was gravy. The meats and vegetables was just the right amount so no waste, Which left just enough room for cracking homemade dessert. A very nice landlord landlady friendly staff,and good food and service and price. Another trip in the offing. Well worth the trip down some very narrow lanes to find."
