"This is a wonderful place! It's the cleanest pub I've ever visited. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch with generous portions of homemade food. The quality was excellent, the venue was lovely, and the staff were fantastic. The food was fresh and came out relatively quickly. The only thing I missed personally was baby changing facilities, but we will definitely be returning soon."

"Fantastic and we would definitely go again. Food was good.... Service was great! Couple of areas just for feedback. Gravy could have done with being a bit thicker (our personal taste) and probably in a gravy boat, rather than already over the roast. Any it did get rather noisy when all the tables were full. I believe there were quieter areas, so would request that area on our return. Other than that. Fantastic..... My family who had not been before were very impressed. (thankyou)!"

"I don`t like to give poor reviews, but I cannot agree with the recent glowing reports on this forum. We arrived at 6.45pm to a totally empty car-park for our pre-booked dinner. We considered leaving but decided to stay, I checked with the barman that food was being served, it was, so we ordered some drinks and food. We were given a very standard pub menu, our selection of Mushrooms in Garlic, Whitebait followed by Fish Pie and Scampi and Chips. The starters were ok but the fish pie was very dry and appeared to be over cooked, the scampi was good. Two other customers came in who managed to get the undivided attention of both the barman and the chef for a length of time. Our meal took two hours for just two courses and with only two other customers present. We will not be returning."

"The Three Ways is a cosy, country pub beautifully located in the village of Cowlinge. It has traditional beams, a wood burning stove you are greeted upon entering with the warmest of welcomes from the resident cocker spaniel! Sunday lunch includes a fine selection of roasts, simply cooked with all the usual accompaniments, plenty of freshly steamed vegetables as much gravy as you could wish. Puddings, from a mini blackboard brought to your table, are very good include sticky toffee sponge with salted caramel ice cream plum frangipane tart with vanilla ice cream. Service is friendly efficient with coffee by the fire after our meal we could happily have whiled away the rest of the afternoon there! It gets very busy on a Sunday so book."
