The Twelve Oars - Menu

the separate vegan menu was not available due to covid. but the food we had was excellent. we had the flower carving salad, burger, nachos and garlic bread.

My children reserved a table for my birthday dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the food was served hot. The atmosphere was friendly, thank you.

Lovely pub in a handy location. The vegan menu is great. I had the button mushroom bourguigion pie, chips, veg and gravy, and the raspberry jam donut pudding with ice-cream. So yummy! View menu

I had a wonderful Sunday dinner last night. The portions were generous, the beef was tender, the vegetables were fresh, and the Yorkshire puddings were deliciously large. The staff was friendly and helpful.

we came here during the stay at butlins, because we couldn't find anything before place, eating is a little pricy, but I enjoyed it and there was a little to choose from updated from previous review on 2021-08-08

staff are really nice we travelled from manchester for birthday weekend away only pub we went in food is really fresh great prices also GREAT STAFF!!! lovely atmosphere we will be returning again. definitely recommend View menu

Separate menu that filters out the none meat options from the menu as a whole. Choice is much better than most pubs that offer a token dish. Gets busy at times but the drinks are good and the prices are fine and it's quite a new clean building

On two occasions we have visited this pub both times the food was over an hours wait. The vegan element of the menu is added to the bottom of dishes as a pose to dishes being separate and easily to identified. Twice I have completed a comments form to the company and received an electronic response and nothing further even though they suggest they will respond within a specific timescale. The View cafe bar on Winthorpe Avenue Off Roman bank has a specialised Vegan menu and is great food.

Visited on a Friday evening pub was busy for rock and roll bingo the two gentlemen doing it were like a comedy double act which was enjoyable even if you wasn’t involved in playing. Atmosphere was great Food was great something for everyone The bar staff were polite the lady that served us was friendly even explained how the bingo worked to us. She was very attentive to customers and did her job well we noticed she didn’t stop all night she was either serving or cleaning. As a family we can’t wait to visit again View menu
