"I have dined at this restaurant several times before, but I visited yesterday for brunch with a friend and we were both very satisfied. I ordered the eggs benedict, which was perfectly cooked, and my friend had the Udder full breakfast, which she described as delicious. Our waitress was polite and always had a smile on her face. The only downside was that the furnishings are starting to look a bit tired - our table had several scratches and marks, so it may be time to consider replacing some of them."

Food was good, nice views of the countryside. Only negative was noise and busyness of the cafe. Recommend for friends wanting coffee and cake.

I didn't realise Gillingham hadn't adopted the Gregorian calendar but it jarred slightly the Christmas tree and decorations were still up mid-January.

Shaftesbury and Gillingham 41 Club Burns Night in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Fabulous evening! £700.00 a great result for the Charity and Event Organisers

Lovely place with a nice array of tables in an open space! The coffee wasn’t the warmest but, still enjoyed! Great shop as well although pricey, the quality is great and the cakes are generous for the price! View menu

We booked a table for the Chinese New Year night. We were so looking forward to it and we were so disappointed. Cold, tasteless food. It was just awful. We did complain but just got a sorry The waiting staff were good. We live locally and we won 't be returning.

Tables and under tables not clean. Toilets not clean and no paper in some cubicles. Two members of staff just stood chatting by entrance when there's plenty they could be doing, eg cleaning or serving us. Basically if your wanting to charge top dollar for food etc then at least give some service.

In a region where there are limited options for coffee stops, this establishment was a pleasant surprise during my journey to Bristol Airport. The cafe/restaurant connected to a farm shop is spacious, a little chilly, and lacks warmth, but the coffee was delicious and the view of the Dorset countryside was enjoyable. View menu

We ordered Smashed Avocado on Toast for brunch, have had before and very enjoyable but this time the ciabatta had been heavily buttered (spread) with the avocado on top! We have never had this anywhere before, drizzle the ciabatta in olive oil then Avocado but not spread! Staff always lovely though, would return but just make a different menu choice.

This restaurant was incredibly underwhelming in terms of its decor, menu, service, and food. The overall experience was bland, tacky, and tasteless. The quality and presentation of the nearby farm shop far surpasses that of this restaurant. It seems like there was a significant misstep in their approach to creating a farm shop restaurant. The restaurant is no better than a typical motorway service station dining option.

"The Museum Inn, located in Farnham, Nr. Blandford Forum, Dorset, DT11 8DE We booked late on Friday night and only one room was available so it was meant to be! We arrived around 5pm and were greeted by friendly staff, shown to our room The Catch and made a reservation for dinner, luckily they still had spaces for dinner but it is advised to book in advance. Lovely spacious room and bathroom, kettle, teas, coffees and bottled water supplied. I have to say I fell in love with the hand wash and hand cream, I have already purchased some for home, the brand is called Bramley and the scent is Lavender, Geranium and Petitgrain. The bed is probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in that is not our own, soft feather pillows that were just right! Dinner was a three course meal and it was delicious, we took 2 hours to eat but never felt rushed or like we were waiting too long between courses. Starters: Ham hock terrine with sourdough toast and Prawn, potato and crayfish fishcakes. Mains: Burger and Steak Ale pie Desserts: Chocolate Brownie with cherry sorbet. Biscoff donuts with pumpkin pie ice cream Drinks: Poretti lager and Cherry cocktail. Breakfast: Eggs Royale and Smashed avocado, poached egg and bacon, absolutely scrumilicious! Big thanks to Amanda who served us this morning and checked us out. Highly recommend staying and eating here and we will 100% be back again! Safe travels! The Allsebrooks x"
