"Booked catering for 20 for our Granddaughter 's party. Paid in full at the time of booking and agreed a list of what was being supplied. This was written in their diary on the date booked. We were not offered, or sent a copy of this list. We agreed to pick up food as they couldn 't deliver because of other bookings that day. On the day of collection there was no popcorn, bacon turnovers, drinks and the chicken nuggets had been substituted with chicken strips and some strange chicken rings. The guy on the counter said the boss hadn 't told him about the missing items hence they weren 't there. On returning the 'trays ' today the boss was sat outside chatting to someone. 'Everything okay ' she asked. Not really I answered and then went on to explain. She admitted the missing items were her fault but then went on to become extremely rude about the fact that we had the 'cheek to complain '. Maybe this boss needs to remember that customers pay her wages! As far as she was concerned we were the problem. She eventually gave us a refund of £10 to get rid of us whilst complaining all the time about how petty we were. Thank you so much to the The Unicorn diner for being so accommodating for us today with our young granddaughter who has several allergies. We were made to feel really welcome and our little one loved playing with the duplo and chalkboard. We all had a delicious stress free lunch as they checked all the ingredients for us.
