"For those that have been before, the tearoom has swapped rooms with rosemary flowers and antiques.(yes rosemary is still there so don 't panic) . The new setting for the tearoom is delightful and very cosy. Currently the decor is Christmas (no surprise there) . The fake mantlepiece and hearth accompanied by 2 big soft chairs sets this room as 'home from home ' atmosphere. The tables are adorned with beautiful Christmas place settings, and the spacing between is adequate if you don 't want to talk privately. The range of cakes is plenty and they are selling the same range of large cakes as before. In fact the menu is pretty much the same. Although the waitresses have changed, so I am presuming the tearooms are under new management. But you won 't be disappointed they are still lovely. The food is delightful. Good portions, and nice tasty food. A single pot of tea is massive .. Prices are still reasonable. So if you find yourself in the area, pop in you won 't be disappointed.. And if you have any extra time then I would recommend perusing around the units which have a lovely array of products for sale, some of which are handmade."

With easy access to the A17 via a roundabout with a sign, his was a great place to break a journey. A 40s themed cafe with period furniture and music it offered good cafe fare as well as more elaborate meals.

Lovely to return to the newly named tearooms within a bigger area, still with all the vintage memories to enjoy this special place for lunch or afternoon tea. Music coming from the jukebox sets the tone to create an experience we enjoy. Greeted and served...

Follow the signs off the western roundabout on the Long Sutton bypass for a very short distance southwards. The tearooms has a retro feel with a rebranding as Yesteryear. The service is pleasant and the food good. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Worth the...

we discovered these tearooms some time ago and have always remembered them as being very friendly. They are decorated in a lovely vintage style and their food, coffee and cakes are superb. They also have an interesting range of items from accessories and books to plants and antiques. This is not a huge place but nice to stop at on your way to and from Norfolk .

What a little gem of a find!!A garden centre of sorts) with a wide variety of stuff. What was the Sliverwood tea rooms is now called the Yesteryear tea room, it’s a trip back in time. Excellent service, lovely coffee, outstanding cakes, value for money and pleasant surroundings. We have been to a lot of tea rooms since moving to South Holland, this beats them all! Will definitely be back

"We've been here a couple of times before and it's been great, however our latest visit was not a great experience. Portions were small, presentation wasn't anything special, looked like meals I could of in nocked up myself as a quick tea at home, nothing special at all, certainly didn't look like a restaurant dining experience. Also, never come across a restaurant that stipulates on the menu if you want steak they need 48 hours notice! And even if they do, they should tell people when they book in as we had 2 of our party very disappointed on the night. The whole dining experience was also ruined by a group of loud, drunk locals sitting in the dining area and talking and swearing at the top of their voices so we couldn't even hear ourselves having a conversation. If people have paid for a dining experience no matter how bad that was, they should not have to put up with a table full of loud, swearing locals who were just there for the drink, keep the two things separate! Really dark and dingy in the restaurant, we struggled to read the menu due to how badly lit it was. The waitress started the evening by telling us what wasn't available off the menu, which in itself seemed odd at the beginning of the weekend to of already run out of so much. Needless to say this one bad experience overshadows previous good ones, it looks like the place has gone down hill, we won't be back! Must say though this is by no means a reflection of the staff they were lovely, it's on the owners!"

"Had a look through some of the lesser positive feedbacks and have to chuckle. Went there for lunch today. It's often very busy and you can't always get a table. The reason a place is busy is because it's good. No one queues for rubbish. Managed to get a table straightaway 11.48) . Pleasantly greeted and pointed to the table. How many places actually take your order nowadays. So refreshing. Order taken and a few minutes later our drinks arrived. No reading a menuboard under pressure. No stacking food on trays like a juggling act, sliding along a rail. No waiting for your drink while your dinner is slowly going cold only to find the person in front has ordered three frappecappychismolatteamerocanos with choc sprinkles and spacedust! I ordered the ploughman's. Three decent chunks of cheese, half baguette, apple, salad, pork pie slice, Coleslaw homemade) chutney, grapes, pickled onions and celery. All excellent except celery, which is spawn of the devil in my opinion) I love a ploughman's and this is right up there with the best. I wanted to try their cake but was too full, so we took a slice home for later. Malteser cake was lovely and obviously home made one slice more than enough for two unless you need your clothes to fit you better) Didn't need an evening meal I hasten to add. Great service, home made food, very reasonably priced. What else do you want? Thoroughly enjoyed it. Very rare nowadays . Thank you."
