"Our first visit to the Union as we've just moved here and we'd heard great things about the food! We bought our Staffy as they accept dogs and we had a beautiful meal, staff were friendly and polite. Next time we want to come and have a go on the pool table!!"

Small but beautiful atmosphere. Really good homemade, healthy British cuisine. Good beer and apple wine. Worth a visit if you're hungry. Excellent value for money.

We visited our Labrador Lola yesterday and were warmly welcomed by Sue behind the bar. The food was amazing and we will be very soon again and would highly recommend it

A warm and friendly Pub with a nice atmosphere was a welcome sight after a long walk from Castle Drogo. Food was excellent and good size portions and very good value for money. Will be back to try the carvery soon!

Great old fashion pub. Serves good beer, very cheap food with good portions. Friendly staff and locals. Beautiful small beer garden and it has parking for a few cars (although the city park is nearby, if necessary).
