Was a great experience with the tasty sunday roast. We had nice staters to start with and had lamb roast which tasted amazing and served with a pleasant smile of hari. All the staff are so friendly and well professional. This is a nice pub with tasty food and friendly staff. Just had a delicious lunch, sat outside under a great awning which was lucky as had an horrendous downpour mid meal, with staff on hand to move tables if needed.An excellent selection of meals, it was hard to make a choice but other people's meals looked just as yummy as ours. Staff so friendly helpful and best bonus the pub is totally dog friendly. Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Some friends and I booked an outdoor space for a party today at the Waggon. Amanda and her team were really helpful in terms of meeting our needs and the cost was very reasonable. The afternoon tea we ordered was really yum and the staff were friendly. It was also really nice how the chef came out and spoke to us too! The venue is great and the outdoor area works really well. Thanks so much, everyone had a great time!

Absolutely pants. Waited 90 mins for food. Came out cold and we refused to pay . Manager avoided situation and was rude on a previous visit and seemed to be the same on this visit. Left the apologies to the poor waiting staff. Awesome lack of customer service. Such a pity as we were a family coming out for fathers Day lunch. They said it was because they had a rush of orders but it was quiet..hardly a quarter of tables filled. Someone needs to sort this out. Don't rely on this pub for special occasions. View menu

Unfortunately, the menu looked very appetizing before arrival, however when our Chicken, Lamb Veg Roasts were served, the veg wasn't cooked correctly, the carrots/parsnips/cauliflower cheese were hard and the red cabbage was smothered in cinnamon (very unusual for a roast). Apart from that, the meat was nice, gravy was tasteful however is it very runny. Deserts provided FOC at the end due to the above issues were yummy, drinks were served at the expected level, however I'm afraid we wouldn't like to visit for the foreseeable future.

Came to this beautiful traditional English pub with some friends for food and drinks As we had previously visited in the past so thought we would come again staff were nice garden is beautiful but the food was really bad unfortunately I was hoping for traditional English homemade pub grub like they used to serve but was so disappointed Basically I was served really bad glorified kebab shop food with No taste risotto was atrocious and bland couldn’t even eat it and the apple crumble was ridiculous basically crushed up biscuits Such a shame as the pub and it’s settings are amazing and the food used to be so nice here Honestly not sure what chefs they have there now but the food is just not the...

On recommendation we booked The Wagon and Horses Pub for Xmas Lunch. On arrival we were seated at a covered snooker table with inappropriate chairs. Free drinks as part of the Xmas offer were not mentioned. The starters were sloppy and not presented well had prawns in their shells which were impossible to get out because so hard. They then served up the Turkey which was in big slices definitely not off any bird with hard veg and burnt stuffing.
